This guy is so underrated
It's a shame that in today's society, talent is mistaken for barely being able to sing + semi to great looking physical features.. There are singers in the world that are beyond amazing that will never get recognition because media will find they aren't attractive enough to get ratings. Of course there are anomalies, when Adele first appeared on screen there is no excusing that it was not what people expected, and though i find Adele to be absolutely stunning, people were surprised when they discovered what her appearance was.. probably because if you do not fit into very unrealistic standards of so called beauty, you have little to no chance. But who could ever deny the beauty and integrity that adele sang and sings, the difference is the talent was noticed before her looks were ever even questioned.
meh, it's not even about having a great voice or good looks. Many people can sing, few can make a difference or have an impact with their genuine & original talent.
A pretty face will always help that's for sure, but it ain't no excuse, if you don't make it as an artist, it's that you've been too busy creating your own little world that nobody gets, when you should have been prospecting instead & make people to get to know you.
You need balls, talent, & a good understanding of what the music industry is about nowadays > over good looks.
Some chance too for sure, but the kind that comes along a go-get-it attitude. At least I think.
Cannot believe this is the same guy that sang summertime 5 years ago. used to be a massive supporter but I grew out of his music but damn I think I'm hooked again

His music from 2015 is great! I love his rock inspired music more than his pop music! For many years he had been doing the generic pop auto tune music but in 2015 he was brave enough to confess that he wanted to start music that shows him being himself not all the popular auto tune stuff that he did from 2010-2014. The music he wanted to show on Free is amazing!

You're songs are so calming and I know no one gives a crap but I haven't severe anxiety problems and have constant anxiety/panic attacks and your songs are so nice and calming to listen to, you don't constantly change up the beat in your songs, you take a rhythm and you keep it up for the entire song and it's quite lovely, love how you've changed Cody, amazing you are sweet heart

If you search to his videos, there's a big chance you can find them on fanaccounts who re-uploaded his videos.
