If you don't mind, could you go in to a little more detail about what's different in an RV than a sticks'nbricks or a hotel when it comes to being type 1? My wife has been type 1 for more years than I'm allowed to disclose and we've been part timing in our van for weeks at a time, so I'm eager to learn what's in store for us if we spend more time on the road. You mentioned supplies, which is taken care of (as you pointed out) by knowing where to get prescriptions filled a day or few in advance or making arrangements to have packages delivered to campgrounds or similar, but that's not exclusive to RVs and we've had to deal with that too. As for hospitalizations, I totally get that each diabetic is different (unlike some doctors, who think that what their outdated textbood says applies the same to everyone) so I'm sure you have different experiences than we do - if you're comfortable saying, what kind of things happen that require hospitalization? We stopped calling for help (regarding insulin reactions) decades ago when we learned insurance covers Glucagon kits and I'm guessing you're over getting "kidnapped" for no real reason when folks around you can give a shot long before an ambulance would arrive. I'm eager to learn what we might be in for so we can start preparing for it and I can start mentally steeling myself for it - I used to be so squeamish about stuff like giving intramuscular injections, but I got over that and with CGMs that's needed even less now. Thanks for any information you can share!

THT, my sister was a teacher and a type 1 diabetic who traveled extensively as a young adult. She lived into her early 80s and had a full adventurous life. You are doing the right thing with your daughter! You have a beautiful home that happens to move. Congrats!

It is quite simple and doable, as a type II diabetic AND a kidney transplant recipient I can tell you it all can be done if you plan properly. I am glad you guys decided to do it and enjoy life.

You've really made the RV cozy for you and your daughters. It's lovely. So glad that you're making it work. I have a question about the cyber school. We live in PA and are looking into cyber school for my granddaughter. Would you give your opinion on the school you're using. I'd appreciate it.

I love the layout of your RV ….. very well done ….. This is something that I considered in the past ….. but now live outside of the country most of the time .
I do have one question for you ….. what is your opinion on the washing machine/Dryer combo . I have only used one once in a rented RV ….. clothes always come out very wrinkly after drying …. Do you have the same problem ? I would like your opinion on it please .
Great video ….. take care and keep healthy …… and god bless you and your family 🙏🏻🙏🏻

We love our combo unit. It makes easy to do laundry and our clothes dry easily. Larger things like towels can sometimes take a little longer. They can be a little more wrinkled some times.
