Two months ago I picked up the electric guitar for the first time and this was the first song I wanted to learn lol, so this was the video I chose to lead me through it. By the end of watching it 10 times I had half the song down, I was really confused and my fingers were burning in pain! I thought, "how the hell does he play it so casually?" and "How will I ever have it down?" Now two months later I have it down at about 3/4 speed lol I came back to re-watch this to perfect the last few sequence of notes and remind myself of the pointer finger trick at 4:29 . I also laughed hearing the jokes again, this video's great. You gotta patent and trademark Sparkling Milk. Thank you Marin, I'm a big fan.

Dude I broke two trying to learn this!! Ernie Ball sucks!! I switched brands and ordered a five pack of D'Addario's high E strings because I thought it was common for them to break all the time. However I've only had to use one of them, and that was the one that replaced the Ernie Ball string! Hasn't broken it all of my extreme bending through this song and several others. D'Addario rocks! :)

why don’t you do more electric guitar songs? i used this video to learn my first song ever on guitar. you made it very easy for me. other songs i’ve been trying to learn are songs from jimi hendrix, pink floyd, etc. but you don’t have any. could you do “cause we’ve ended as lovers” by Jeff Beck? would be awesome. thanks for helping us out.
I will sprinkle in a few classic electric songs! I don’t do a ton of classics just because a lot of other people have already done tutorials for them and I tend to enjoy more alternative stuff, but there are absolutely some Hendrix, Pink Floyd, Zeppelin, Black Sabbath, etc, songs that I love!
