Very helpful
I'm glad to hear it!
What about the "High Ren"? Is this not a valid differance?
This is a more generalized overview of the Renaissance, so I didn't break it down into the smaller eras. I do have a video about the High Renaissance specifically though!
Thank you. Save soil 💙🖤🤍
can you drop all what u said there here in the comments? so I can just copy it please
i feel like this video focuses too much on Caravaggio who really kinda had a style of his own (Caravaggism) and not enough on International Baroque artists like Guido Reni and Velazquez
The main focus of this video is on Italian Renaissance and Baroque art. But, there are many artists of this period outside the pure Italian tradition. Maybe I should make another video about international styles.

I disliked this video.
Because your explanation of 'Baroque' is incorrect. The word 'Baroque' comes from the Portugese word 'Barroco', which means 'The imperfect pearl'.
So, less research. But I appreciate you attempting to make a video on such a complex subject. Kudos for that.
That is only one definition of the word Baroque. There are many definitions, especially in reference to the artistic style. My videos are meant to be a general overview for anyone to enjoy, not to create a complex discussion of art history.
It was great until it wasnt
