Wow. 25yrs ago my wife and I moved to Florida and leased a motel. The very first thing I did was take down the “Color TV” sign!!! It just seemed outdated and dumb! We were not a “No Tell, Motel”, but we did have one room at the end of the building reserved for romantic rendezvous!
I am 54 and first time going to Vegas was with my folks as a young teen in 1984. I have been to Vegas 8-10x. Stopped going about twenty years ago for Lake Tahoe. Same cost, better type of people and the gambling is better. Its a better vacation.
In the 90's I used to go to Vegas on business five or six times a year but I hated it in the summer. I also like to get outside and walk so one year I walked the strip from the Luxor all the way to Convention Center. I had good shoes, thick soles and I still ended up burning the bottoms of my feet. How those girls spend on day on a hot sidewalk wearing flip flops is beyond me. On a side note I wasn't looking but still I never noticed any hookers on the streets,

I remember long before they got famous that when the store closed its doors they still had a window to serve those midnight to 6 am customers. Had a overnight runner job in the early 2000's so went by their a lot during those hours. Seems like it was always the oddest collection of folks at that window needing to hock something in the middle of the night.
I remember back In the late 70’s early 80’s all the ladies of the evening would walk the strip…mini skirts and high heels in summer and big fur coats in winter…it was like a fashion show…most of the woman were beautiful, nothing like the woman of today….Boulder hwy took over in the late 90’s and the W Trop corridor past 10 yrs…

My wife and I frequented Vegas every 2 years for 12 years. It's changed for the worse. Prostitutes are now in the tourist district due to the lax of law enforcement. 1st time in my life, I had to physically stop someone from attacking my wife. Fremont and the Strip were fun. Now you'd best watch your surroundings. Sad. Also, no more Professional Bull Riding. City went to woke.
