UTRINKI - JANI GOLOB
WIND ENSEMBLE LUX
is a musical ensemble based in Villach, Austria, which consists of established international instrumentalists, soloists, professors, conductors from countries (Slovenia, Austria, Slovakia) with a tendency to perform different music. The ensemble performs various genres of compositions that push the boundaries of the standard band format and soundscape. The ensemble is dedicated to collaboration with artists, composers of various genres, who create a unique musical experience.
Its composition contributes to the ensemble's unique sound. Basically, it is a miniature wind band or wind ensemble, which uses flute, clarinet quartet, accordion, double bass and concert percussion in the lineup.
The main advantage of the ensemble is the national diversity, which enriches the interpretive side of the ensemble and, on the other hand, deepens into more complex musical concepts.
The ensemble is currently preparing two NEW albums, namely Slovenian works dedicated to Wind Ensemble LUX and Crossover LUX, which will represent the ensemble's stylistic diversity and colorfulness.
