You guys killed the install
Thank you very much
You are tackling the one thing I dread on cars and thats wiring. Looks good nice install of the ecu.
I still dread it
Super clean install, really like the choices you guys are making 👍
Thank you so much. I hope the quality I’m trying to do everything at comes out in the video
That looks mint af Stav. Nice one mate. Clean OEM look.
Thank you very much wait till I show you part 3 of the install. Engine harness will be a lot of fun
@@MalakaMotorSports Looking forward to that mate! Take care!
The best show on the internet aka keeping up with the malakas 👍👍
Hahahaha thank you
Well done Stav 👍👌. You've really cleaned up the engine bay and cleared up a lot of space for other goodies to fit in there👍👌
Yes that's a perfect spot I did that 15yrs ago with my megasquirt in my MK2 turbo Jetta coupe. It was also great for tuning another benefit was it's also safe from water in case the car gets flooded .you guys know from the B5 that it was a blessing to have the ECU mounted away from things that could damage it. Why Audi & vw now are putting the ECUs in harm's way is beyond me. GREAT job Stav keep up the good work, love the channel .😎
Absolutely thank you so much. Trying my best

KEEp killing it guys. This install videos are inspirational I rememeber when u guys didn’t do your own work . Now look at you guys.
We keep trying to improve and hopefully that shows and I am excited to see it fire up
Probably the best part of moving the ECU is getting away from the heat of the engine compartment. High temps are always the enemy of electronics. The convenience and great look are terrific bonuses.
Yep that’s exactly the reason we moved it plus saves us some space for catch cans, nitrous solenoids etc
Welll well well. Malakas installed syvecs better then professionals
I think the reason that is because a little bit of pride was taken in this install. And the other not so mucb
Nice fit in the glovebox 👍. The SYV’s are such a nice looking unit its a shame hits hidden .
Cheers
Agreed. Shame to hide it. But nice to get it out of the heat. The Rs3 engine bay has always been extremely hot
Amazing brother just amazing definitely leave it in The glove box!!😍😍🔥🔥
Thank you so much definately nice and clean
👌💪
Good job sir !
👍🏼
Wow very clean setup
😺😺
👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼
Go Stav 👍😁, piss off big brother again 👍. Cheers mark korst from Melbourne Australia 😁
I need some info on the shop in li that built your block also. I'm not to far and trying to send mine out there
good work that stav very tedious 😎
Yes sir very tedious but also a lot of fun
Keeping electronics away from heat cycles, vibration, moister and high tension emf interference is always a good idea. 👍
First....
Holy shit you have a face under those glasses!
Hahahahaha
I still believe the trunk is a good place to install it the ECU
The trunk will be for the surge tank. But also a good spot
You found the exact colored OEM wires on Amazon too?
I haven't had luck in my search
I found Amazon’s limitations lol
Actually found all the wires on prowireusa.com
And connectors at bmotorsports.com
😂... I'm familiar with those sites as well... Ordered my plugs/pins from there too...
But since I'm piss poor I was hoping for "Amazon like" variant with the OEM color combos @@MalakaMotorSports
Didn’t really want to risk it all wire looks the same from outside but didn’t want intermittent connection issues so but known good quality stuff
As long as it's Tefzel wire, it'll outlast my 90's rust bucket... Most intermittent problem are usually at user crimp connections anyhow... Amazon needs to step it up... @@MalakaMotorSports
Pulling the engine will be a pain in the ass now with the harness going into the glove box
Glove box is a better location as it keeps the ECU from heat and the elements.
Absolutely
Twist your can bus wires
Yep we twisted the wire of the cable we used
I think you should have ran a serial port instead 🤣
