- I swear if you could bottle Pau's energy and sell it, you'd be filthy rich! This girl has a motor on her.... pitch perfect vocals and pounding drums at the same time. And she plays off her sisters so well. I love these girls so much. I wish the best of things for these ladies.

It is a complicated drum pattern, too, that she is playing while she sings. It is impressive. The drum pattern in Martirio is even more complicated.

Pau just won a major award from Modern drum magazine. On Tues the girls will be making their debut on American TV. They will be performing at the MTV VMA awards pre show.

An important part of their development in music and ability to write their own songs is that they all were talented in classic piano before choosing their current instruments. Most of their song creation starts at the piano and then they convert it. At the bottom of their video list, you will find videos of them really young in front of the piano. Their home piano is rather famous now and might be a good investment even if it's slightly out of tune. Freddie Mercury may have died in 1991, but his piano was sold for USD 2,200,000 this week.

Yep, you're a Dad. LOL Energy, of course, they are still young. Pau does have the stamina, I believe I read that she practices singing while running.

Im not a drummer, but I do produce music so I have some understanding. But something very few mention about Pau and simply overlook is her innate ability to 'groove'. Vast majority of rock drummers don't have a good groove, let alone a great one. It tends to feel a bit more robotic for most rock drummers, but Pau makes it look so easy and seamless.
Best of luck, hopefully you can get back to work soon. I know the feeling.
Yeah - Pau grooves a lot. Their Error album producer (the legendary) David Bendeth worked with them on grooving a lot more. He would snag a guitar and just start playing another song, while they were doing their studio parts, to get them to jam, rather than just mechanically reproduce the notes. They've been good from the beginning, but you can see a great difference in their tightness, timing and groove, over the last few years.

I get what you were saying about Dany and Ale being in the background, but I prefer to think of it like they're giving their sister the spotlight (because Dany can _absolutely_ command that spotlight). Whether or not she wrote it, this is Pau's song and the song works better with her being featured.

Love this song! Dany's songs are great and I love them but when Pau sings there's something extra there in a way I can't quite describe. Raw emotion
I really feel like she has "it". You can't keep your eyes off of her for most of the video. Her presence is felt. She is very very talented :)

In a recent live chat that they said they plan on doing a major production like this once a year. Next month they will be headlining their biggest venue ever and have hired the same team that put together this show for them. Pepsi center 7000 cap.

Cool reaction! Yeah - it's a Pau song. They shift the singing responsibility back and forth between songs and often within the same song. That helps a lot with stamina and gives the 3-piece a lot more depth of sound. There's never a dull moment with The Warning and this is one of many reasons why. Thanks a lot for the reaction!
