The 76 Monte Carlo was fashioned after a Horror movie automobile called The Car! It was a 71 Lincoln mark lll supposedly possessed by the devil..movie came out in 1977 and the Lincoln was built by none other than George Barris

The kitted Monte Carlo is an abomination, but still looks better than the original. I really like the lime green. Reminds me of an early Hot Wheels car.
Shortening 55 56 57 Chevy 4 doors was popular in the 70s. Every one I was involved with was poorly done ( coat hangers and acetylene torch construction) and fun to drive. Diggin' the 4x4 56.

In the u.s. we have a look twice save a life campaign to bring awareness for bikers.. but one day I will be making that trip to the uk and take a tour of Europe on a motorcycle.. and maybe even take a few months to live on a long boat and float the canals.
re: Corvair camper van Heck...take the camper top off, give the internal "accoutrements" the heave-ho, and you still have a rare pick-up truck worth the money. The only thing you may have to do is find or fabricate the side-loading ramp that the truck would have had.
I know a guy that bought a 4x4 mustang II almost identical to that one minus flames. He got it for cheep back in the early ninties, pulles the built 351 Cleveland, replaced it with a stick 302 and sold if for almost the same as what he paid to start with.
Automotive equivalent of beastiality...... Some people such be kept away from tools. And some should try using more than a butter knife, a claw hammer pop rivets, duct tape and foul language.
I love that last one the green Monte Carlo. What would that cost? Reminds me of an old Bentley with a continental rear. Same era. I would have opted for more deeper or lighter green like the 60s American.
