What do u mean " Mom if your watching, I luv u"!!! Son, u KNOW I'm ALWAYS watching u...I'm your biggest all time fan!! And have been since the moment u were born..I love u too babydoll..
I am in mourning! The ugly is dead...dead.A good thing we still have the good and the bad in this beautifull boat filled with two beautifull souls...No Matt ,you cannot foul us,we can see what is inside.I am so happy for you guys.
I am so friggin' happy for you guys. After two of everything, tons of frustration & ultimately success & years on the hard- within 2 weeks- you have snorkeling footage. WOW- YOU ROCK!!! So pumped for you & excited about adventures to come!!!
Love the new shirt design reminds me of Bald and Bankrupts t-shirt while evoking the spirit of the classic OP (Ocean Pacific) t-shirts of the 80's. You are guaranteed to sell at least one.
Boat looks great , don't know why anyone would question the bulkheads Matt gave them extra strength. Most you would need to do is adjust the rigging and Matt can do that easy peazy.
That little story about the T-shirt was really creative and a great advertisement. Welcome to your new family Logan ! I was given a taste of beer at about 4 or 5 and remember it well. Mom was really pissed at my Grandpa !
Congratulations on a job well done. And so happy you have the tools onboard to fully enjoy your boat and sailing adventures. One more thing, can’t wait to see the new windlass cause watching you haul all that chain hurts my back watching you. Great video and thanks for starting off Sunday right
I’ve been subscribed and following your adventures for maybe almost 2 years and I think you guys make all of your followers feel like part of the crew. Thank you for all of your GBU adventures. I’m a medically retired USAF and USN vet and I also did about 2 years in the Colorado Air National Guard. You did a fantastic job refitting your wonderful little boat. I am looking forward to following your adventures hopefully for a long time. God bless and fair winds and following seas.
Hi guys I sold my 62 foot classic yacht at a loss $$$$ but bought a 35 foot yacht. Never want a big yacht again . In these crazy times less is more and more freedom.. You 2 have always been so real and resourceful. This is what people need now . Realistic stuff . Love you guys
I've been with you for years, because I can always depend on you 2 to give me a good dose of happiness...I notice I'm always smiling throughout your videos 🙂, and I truly thank you for that, I can really use it ! I don't like using the word "proud," so I'll say I'm really happy for you both, I hope you feel the Love from all of us. ❤ P.S....love the new shirt ! 🙂
I'm so glad everything went well on that shakedown sail. By the looks and the smiles on your faces at the end and the body language, it was easy to see you both bursting with happiness 😄😄 and pride!!! And rightfully so! You earned it!! 👍
Very interested in… 1. Your ‘portable’ water maker. What are you using 2. The walkie talkie headsets you use Oh, and try tightening the leech line on your genoa to stop the flapping and wear on the sail 😊
Sailing, sailing, sailing again! How great. Now to learn to sail with a working engine, autopilot, improved kitchen, and all. And to learn how to use the extra time you will have (relax (and fish?)).
Another great episode! Thanks for having breakfast with us on this chilly Sunday morning! Always look forward to hanging out with you two on Sunday morning - Jen & Rob 🇨🇦
I did learn some things about rehabbing a boat but I'm so glad you're back on the water. You guys are my escape from the cold winter months in Missouri. Thanks, maybe we'll meet on the horizon someday.
You guys still have it all these years...please don't become like those professional you tuber sailors who like you were greener and life was exciting in the beginning but then lost it all to the craft of producing videos. I love you guys.
I've used front load washers for years. You can stuff a lot more into it than you think compared to a top loader. The more cloths in it will make the spin and rinse cycles smoother.
18:33 to 19:25 and other places. At the start of the video I thought 'I hope C shows some sailing video while under sail'. You did! You guys look like you're having fun and reaping the benefits of all your hard work. You deserve it! Thanks for sharing :)
I really believe most people are hoping you don't have any issues with the bulk heads and that they perform well with no problems. Anyone who wants the bulk heads to fail so they can say they were right has some serious issues on multiple levels. Have a great time you've both earned it. As far as the washer goes there's going to be some things that need to be adjusted and that's why you do shakedown sails to find any issues before you head out on the ocean. God bless ,stay safe and enjoy the rewards of all your hard work. Matt you do really need to get serious about getting a new propellor ,that old prop has to be out of balance and will eventually cause vibrations that will effect performance and wear on the bearings and your seals.
The way it was meant to be. Enjoy the fruits you 2!. Yo Stache man, if genoa escapes your mind, just remember genoa sausage. Just unfurl your big genoa sausage to get moving. (I used to manage an Italian restaurant). Happy sails! Matt and Kristen.
You two make me laugh and give me a permanent grin whenever I watch these videos, thank you! The boat looks awesome, and I hope you're happy with all the new reno's so far...peace and happy sails...
Rosie and I had our Honda 2000 stolen a while back down on S. Padre Island. We had used it for ten years. Always good but for less than half the price we replaced it with a Briggs and Stratton 2200 watt. It works just as well. Now we added some solar, so we don't use it nearly as much. Keep up the nice work guys and stay safe and healthy. Burlington Bill singer songwriter busking from home and on the road!
It looks like Kristen is in love, even when Matt is wearing women's clothing. Now that's commitment. Glad to see those big smiles after so much hard work. Even Bear seems to be happy to be sailing in his basket. Don't forget to put those numbers back on the hull! Thanks for sharing as always.
So proud of SGBU, through thick and thin, rough times when it looked like it couldn't be done, you persevered and got it done. The smiles on your faces make me happy, now it's time to have fun and sail.
Guys, when tying to a mooring ball, make it easy in and out. Instead of tying eye to eye, thread one line from each fwd cleat on each side of your bow anchor through the eye splice on the mooring ball painter. Bring each line back and tie to the same cleat. When leaving just untie your lines, leaving each eye on each cleat. You will just fall back with the wind and then retrieve your lines. No need to power up and spend minutes trying to undo a dry eye to eye that’s been there under the Caribbean sun.
An Axial Flux Wind Disk Generator are a really great investment for boats and RV's. Plus their low profile compare to the wind mill props.⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐😎👍Matt if you really want to catch a fish. Try fishing along the ocean drop off's/continental - island shelfs or above shipwreck's.👍👍
Hey guys thanks so much for watching!! Make sure to hit thumbs up 👍 if you are excited to see us under sail again. (and the bulkheads survived😅🤣😆)
Is a man who refuses to wear women's underwear really a man?!
Glad your back sailing

Love the new shirt design reminds me of Bald and Bankrupts t-shirt while evoking the spirit of the classic OP (Ocean Pacific) t-shirts of the 80's. You are guaranteed to sell at least one.
Team windlass here and not going anywhere. Save your back!
One word describes this video FREEDOM!
I like that the helm has a cover unlike so many people out there sailing and sitting in the rain. Still waiting to see a windlass.... enjoy!
Don't worry about the bulkheads. You probably did a better job than the factory. I'm sooo happy for you guys!!😁
Glad to see you out there , No numbers on your boat doing your laundry you guys are wild freaking love you
Congratulations on a job well done. And so happy you have the tools onboard to fully enjoy your boat and sailing adventures. One more thing, can’t wait to see the new windlass cause watching you haul all that chain hurts my back watching you. Great video and thanks for starting off Sunday right

Visiting my buddy he got a glimpse of the beginning of this video and before 2 minutes went by said man she really likes him.
I'm so glad everything went well on that shakedown sail. By the looks and the smiles on your faces at the end and the body language, it was easy to see you both bursting with happiness 😄😄 and pride!!! And rightfully so! You earned it!! 👍
Sailing GBU: Come for the sailing. Stay for the music.

Oh, and try tightening the leech line on your genoa to stop the flapping and wear on the sail 😊
LOL I was just observing those fancy Draws Matt had on when you mentioned them. 🤣🤣🤣🤣 Only a real man can pull it off like you. 😎👍👍👍

Brother I wear a Thai men's sarong daily.. don't doubt comfortable clothes. When it works it works . Thanks for the enjoyable vlogs.
I did learn some things about rehabbing a boat but I'm so glad you're back on the water. You guys are my escape from the cold winter months in Missouri. Thanks, maybe we'll meet on the horizon someday.

Delicious Droning! Good to see her perform to expectations. Next a windlass.
Matt, a motor and autopilot can make life better we all agree, but you have the best dog life one could very want🎉
18:33 to 19:25 and other places. At the start of the video I thought 'I hope C shows some sailing video while under sail'. You did! You guys look like you're having fun and reaping the benefits of all your hard work. You deserve it! Thanks for sharing :)

As long as you and partner can humour and laught together, your coupling will remain strong.
Good stuff, keep on enjoying those well earned sailing days...
When you have a 1600 NM crossing, you will LOVE that AP
I really believe most people are hoping you don't have any issues with the bulk heads and that they perform well with no problems.

So, so nice to see you back on the water in your fixed up, now handy dandy, fantastic Craig's List boat. Be safe out there!!!!
So glad to see you two out on the water! "Shake down cruise" done, a little snorkeling, some fishing. Outstanding!
You both are an inspiration, to this dreamer, living the life is possible!
When Matt said “Don’t step on my blue squid shoes” I almost peed my pants I was laughing so hard. Great job on the refit. The boat looks great. PEACE.
Finally time to relax!! and sail into the sunset!! Enjoy!
Less stress on the sailing for youin's now. No more totally destroyed on a short distance. Congrats!👍
