I hope and pray for your peace and a great life while here. I'm sorry you lost your beloved grandfather, my own father passed away in 2014 at 72 years old. I lost my soul mate, my mother who passed due to breast cancer at only 66, the year before him and the pain never goes away. It hasn't gotten easier for me and I'm now a 43 year old woman. Dad had an endocrine cancer himself. It's a CRUEL disease which no one but the worst of "people" deserve, IMHO. I understand the pain of watching someone you love so much having to deteriorate and suffer, and all you can do is helplessly stand by, waiting. Again, sorry you had to see your Grandpa that way, but I truly believe that he, my wonderful parents, and everyone else that suffered so, is in a much better existence; no one can convince me otherwise. I've had MANY experiences to give me that evidence, and I'm a logical, educated, sane person. Well, anyway, remember to take good care of yourself; your Grandpa wouldn't want it any other way, I'm sure!

Dominic seemed like a great guy, he reminds me of my Aunt who passed away back in 1993 from terminal stomach cancer. She was the sweetest woman on earth. She was given 2 and a half years to live, but she fought hard and lived 8 years with this brutal illness. She's in heaven now and so is Dominic. May they both rest in peace.

I have just watched all of Dominic's videos after I searched for videos about experiencing lung cancer. I'm 24 and I've smoked for 10 years. Recently I've been smoking less and have really wanted to quit. I've 'quit' before, most recently abstaining from cigarettes for 6 weeks, but I always go back to smoking eventually. After hearing Dom's first hand account of lung cancer, it has really brought into my view the reality of lung cancer and how important it is to try and avoid it at all costs. I had my last cigarette today because of these videos, and I will make sure never to go back to them again. Although I've never met him, I wish this nice man was still around so I could thank him. Could I ask, did Dom smoke? Was smoking the reason for his cancer?

Holy fuck, he reminds me of my uncle who I wish I talked to before he died last year. We all can tell how having terminal cancer stage took a toll on him and his perspective on life. I guess I was afraid it would come off as too spontaneous for me to come to him and talk when I never had any 1 on 1 conversation with him in my 19 years of living. Sucks to have missed an obvious opportunity. Same goes to my grandfather.

I've got testicular cancer and I get through it by thanking god it is treatable. I'm one of the very lucky ones. My heart goes out to your family.
Iv had the same, stage 2 testicular cancer. (spread to back and stomach). I have been cancer free for some months now! Good luck to you my friend!

Holy fuck, he reminds me of my uncle who I wish I talked to before he died last year. We all can tell how having terminal cancer stage took a toll on him and his perspective on life. I guess I was afraid it would come off as too spontaneous for me to come to him and talk when I never had any 1 on 1 conversation with him in my 19 years of living. Sucks to have missed an obvious opportunity. Same goes to my grandfather.

I am so sorry for your loss, or whoever has to go through this, or the loss of someone with any type of cancer. Cancer is an horrible horrible thing that I wish was not even a thing.
