In Tamilnadu, We make a similar snack with rice and urad dal flour for janmashtami. There's It's also a variant with garlic added to it.called 'thattai', meaning 'flat or flattened'. Your recipe also looks good
You can definitely bake it! I’ve also mentioned this in the video. The texture of the baked version is slightly different from the fried one, but it still turns out great.
I want to say 1st thank you Jesus, for your channel,,I love everything you post. Second I am watching in the U.S.A. from Texas. And which kind of oil are you trying in????❤❤❤❤
First, thank you so much for your kind words and for watching! I'm so grateful to Jesus for guiding this journey. It means a lot to hear that you're enjoying everything I post. Second, a big hello to you from India.! ❤️❤️❤️❤️ I used sunflower oil in this recipe. Thanks for your support!
Yes, you can bake it in a microwave if your microwave has a convection mode. Just make sure to set it to the right temperature, typically around 180°C (350°F). The baking time might be shorter than in a regular oven, so keep an eye on it to avoid burning..
Hardwork can be seen . Masha Allah But oil is again an issue .. oil will make it unhealthy, and frying in olive oil is so expensive .. and baking requires lots of patience.. do you have any video on Homemade healthy tortillas?
Hi! I speak from Brazil. I want to make it, but I do not find this moong beans where I live. Would you please tell me what can I use instead? Thank you so much!!😊
@@lazcris these lentils are called green gram Or mung beans. You can find them as dried. They are available as whole as their outer skin is green. When skin removed, you get this beans what she used. I would suggest you to follow the recipe as it is. It's hard to replace ingredients in recipes like these as they are deep fried. Doesn't taste the same.
Your ingredients are excellent. And why must all snacks be fried? High calories and unhealthy using such huge quantity of seed oil. Leads to internal inflamation. Can't the snacks be baked? Indians eat too many deep fried foods. Pls show non fried snack recipes.
You can bake these as well! I’ve also mentioned this in the video. The texture of the baked version is slightly different from the fried one, but it still turns out great. Thank you for appreciating the ingredients! I completely agree-there's no need for all snacks to be fried, especially with the health concerns around high-calorie intake and the use of large amounts of seed oil, which can lead to inflammation. I’m definitely working on more non-fried snack recipes that are just as delicious and satisfying. Baked options can be a great alternative, and I’ll make sure to include more of those in my future videos. Your feedback is valuable, and I’m committed to promoting healthier snack choices.

The title is misleading. I thought it is fully a protein biscuit. This recipe is already there on RUclips.
Great recipe. Too bad Moong Beans are NOT available where i live (rural area, third world country) but thans nonetheless.
@@EnglishMagic777 I don't think there's a single Indian village where moong is not available 🤔 Are you in another country (not India)?
@@rajalakshmir5606 I'm in Latin America. Shops here haven't even heard of those beans.
