What lovely socks, it’s great that James loves our handmade socks so much and the cables are gorgeous in the mustard pair. Great idea to use the cable needle, I’ve use a darning needle for little ones before but it’s a bit dices lol. I have that beautiful wheel of time yarn and it is beautiful, I thought it might be a hare too. Your bears are beautiful what fun to have a few boys, and the girl all dressed for the jubilee party are so cute. Paula, I had a reminder set on my phone for the shop update. Due to lack of sleep, I didn’t hear the reminder and didn’t check your Etsy shop until 12:00 pm PDT, an hour late. There were two items left and one of them was Colin, the item I really wanted! So I scooped him up! He’s going to live in California, close to the Pacific Ocean, closer to Stanford, and right in the middle of Silicon Valley. I imagine the little scamp will be putting together “pitch decks” and taking meetings with V.C.s at the Rosewood Sand Hill and wanting to borrow the i8!

Hello. Lovely to see Doug. My Mollie is also naughty when she wants something and she just won’t give up until she gets it. Love the navy cardigan. I can highly recommend the Mighty Sight glasses which have a built-in light. Not very flattering but they are brilliant for hand sewing and hard to see wool when knitting. I also recommend a stainless steel cat fountain that I bought from Amazon as it looks like a tap and Kim might love it. LOVE all the teddies and sock bags. Going to try the James C Brett sock yarn. Hope James didn’t get too soaked on his adventure in his Crocs. Lesley x
We had to put cat collars on ours, because when they escape outside, they might be treated like unclaimed cats and turned in to the city….so every cat has a heart tag with our name and phone number…..I think Doug also likes his adventures…so glad he now wants to stay in your garden instead of bin sitting….love to you ,,your family, and fur friends.
So happy to see a podcast from you…. I too use DPN’s for cables. I find them much easier than cable needles. I cringed when I heard that Meg is getting blisters on her feet from her Doc Martins. I always get blisters from shoes too; I started using blister bandaids and they work great. I wonder if you have them in your part of the world. I hope James gets home safe and sound. Loved seeing all your projects and teddies and the gorgeous bags you made. I will miss the update since I will be at a seafood festival on Saturday. I’ll have to catch the next one.

Brilliant podcast as usual Paula, loved seeing all your new makes, had to look up the bookish cardigan as the front of yours looked fabulous, but the back really is something else, although I think you might get a little cross eyed with that navy wool😂 All your socks were lovely but my favourite of all was James’s funny feetz socks, the colours were gorgeous and with the bamboo I would image they feel so soft, I’ll have to look them up. @@stitchedbymrsd6754 I missed the name the first time I listened to your podcast, I was too excited to listen and tried to listen in the living room with my Husband...(first mistake) I usually listen to you before taking my nap on my Ipad. When I watched the 2nd time, I was able to see that I missed the name of the pattern and you said it very clearly!
When I was a kid ( I'm 61 now) my mum knitted me a lovely pair of pink speckled mittens and I loved them. Unfortuntately I put them down next to the guinea pig cage and when I got up in the morning they had pulled them through the bars of their cage and chewed them all up into pink speckled fluff and lined their bed with it...maybe you could let your guinea pigs have James's old socks and let them chew them up...would that be dangerous for them do you think?
I know about Jacquelyn Salem! She no longer does a knitting podcast (I think shewas Brooklyn Knits or something like that) but she is all about sewing now. She sews almost all of her own clothes and they have a flat in Brooklyn where she is doing some amazing gardening things on the tiniest of properties. I found her again and watch her now. You are right that she isn't really knitting now - or at least talking about it, but she has some nice designs out even if there are not too many. Feel free to check out her podcast. Beautiful sock knitting as always, love James new pair and Megs ( Doc Martens ) sound like they take forever to wear in ! And those mustard ones are just gorgeous what a statement they will make when you wear them stunning. I think your amazing doing that cable pattern in navy blue it’s going to be very wearable when done. Hello. Lovely to see Doug. My Mollie is also naughty when she wants something and she just won’t give up until she gets it. Love the navy cardigan. I can highly recommend the Mighty Sight glasses which have a built-in light. Not very flattering but they are brilliant for hand sewing and hard to see wool when knitting. I also recommend a stainless steel cat fountain that I bought from Amazon as it looks like a tap and Kim might love it. LOVE all the teddies and sock bags. Going to try the James C Brett sock yarn. Hope James didn’t get too soaked on his adventure in his Crocs. Lesley x

We had to put cat collars on ours, because when they escape outside, they might be treated like unclaimed cats and turned in to the city….so every cat has a heart tag with our name and phone number…..I think Doug also likes his adventures…so glad he now wants to stay in your garden instead of bin sitting….love to you ,,your family, and fur friends.

So happy to see a podcast from you…. I too use DPN’s for cables. I find them much easier than cable needles. I cringed when I heard that Meg is getting blisters on her feet from
her Doc Martins. I always get blisters from shoes too; I started using blister bandaids and they work great. I wonder if you have them in your part of the world. I hope James gets home safe and sound. Loved seeing all your projects and teddies and the gorgeous bags you made. I will miss the update since I will be at a seafood festival on Saturday. I’ll have to catch the next one.

Brilliant podcast as usual Paula, loved seeing all your new makes, had to look up the bookish cardigan as the front of yours looked fabulous, but the back really is something else, although I think you might get a little cross eyed with that navy wool😂 All your socks were lovely but my favourite of all was James’s funny feetz socks, the colours were gorgeous and with the bamboo I would image they feel so soft, I’ll have to look them up. Can’t wait for the next one x

When I was a kid ( I'm 61 now) my mum knitted me a lovely pair of pink speckled mittens and I loved them. Unfortuntately I put them down next to the guinea pig cage and when I got up in the morning they had pulled them through the bars of their cage and chewed them all up into pink speckled fluff and lined their bed with it...maybe you could let your guinea pigs have James's old socks and let them chew them up...would that be dangerous for them do you think?

I know about Jacquelyn Salem! She no longer does a knitting podcast (I think shewas Brooklyn Knits or something like that) but she is all about sewing now. She sews almost all of her own clothes and they have a flat in Brooklyn where she is doing some amazing gardening things on the tiniest of properties. I found her again and watch her now. You are right that she isn't really knitting now - or at least talking about it, but she has some nice designs out even if there are not too many. Feel free to check out her podcast.
