Warfield shows always brought out something special from the band through the original Panic years! Could that man sitting in the chair been THE "Panic"??!! 😉😎 🚀🚀🔥
Perfectly said, my man. My fave Panic show attended without question was 7-4-00, the three-set affair with sit-in guest after guest including Jorma and Merl that FINALLY ended with the band still playing Chilly past 2 am forcing the Warfield mgmt to turn on the houselights to stop the jamming and send Panic back to their hotels.
Jojo had some crazy synth stuff going in these Warfield shows, anyone know the story behind that? I don't think I've heard that in any shows other than these. Not necessarily what I'd equate with the classic WSP sound but it works so well, seems especially fitting at the Warfield.
Actually he can’t play anything right. Quit seeing my fav band after he took over. Technically brilliant but does not know timing as it relates to WsP music. Mikey’s patience was what made it work.
I ran across a rehearsal recording of Mikey and JB must have been 92ish. Anyway, they are woodshedding some tunes for Everyday. It's the first time Mikey shows JB " The thing in G" which is the beginning riff to Pilgrims. No where close to the full song. I thought it was pretty cool to get a snapshot from that moment in time.
In the two shows I've seen with Jimmy, I was wishing he'd channel Mikey or go back to the ARU. So glad I got to see the 50 or so shows I saw in the 90's.
WOW THE WARFIELD THEATER,IVE SEEN A LOT OF BANDS THERE,I CANT BELIEVE THEY TORE IT DOWN!!!!!!😤IT HAD A LOT OF FEELING,VERY SMALL UP CLOSE AND PERSONAL SHOW
The Warfield was torn down??? IMPOSSIBLE... I've got tickets to see Puscifer at the Warfield in October. You must be thinking of a different place. The Warfield is alive and kicking as of this date 8/15/2022
20+ min's of drums = WAY too long. Anything more than 5' of Panic drums = you're pissing in my ear (in Trey's words lmfao). Sorry, you're just not Billy & Mickey . . .
Yo I hate drums segments as much as the next guy; but see what I said drum segments? Any band they’re absolutely the same dead, panic, sci whoever. Get out of here with that shit burnout what the fuck makes you think your opinion is special dipshit? Long live wsp, dead and many others all day; forget you chump.
@@marcolipaoli I don't Hate drum segments, I just think if they go over a certain length it gets repetitive, especially if it's just hammering away. If it's like some of the GD latter era segments with mellow spacey syncopated electronica, that can hold my interest. Unfortunately Panic's drums are usually merely "hammering away". Anything over 5 min's is like listening to a Nerd talk on about comic books or superhero's. BTW I'm a Nerd lol
My first WSP show. Never heard them before. After the first 10 min on the balcony I was hooked. Ever since. Great memories.
Hell ya!! Spread Neck for life 😎✌️👊🏼
Amazing run, amazing night, amazing tour! We were lucky!!!

Mikey Pilgrims is the best Pilgrims.

@@nickautry7332 At least John Mayer didn't take over for Mikey! You could have that happen to a band you love ❤️!

Erik Chilberg yeah, I haven’t been back in 10 years. The music totally changed after Mikey passed. I do not enjoy Jimmy’s guitar with WSMFP. At all.
The only Panic.. never again. Long live his music!
