This is the neck from the Strandberg NX 7 True Temperament and the body from the NX 7 Prog. The necks are interchangeable, so this was a no-brainer, and so worth it.
@@TreeFine so did you change it by yourself? how you think about the tt frets does it sound alot more intonated by standard fretting? i want one but it have to have trem. the seems bit expensive
@@BFHPET The necks are interchangeable and you can easily do this yourself. I had a local dealer do the work, however. Regarding whether TT works? Yes, it works. More intonated is an understatement. Every note will be dead on, no matter where you are on the neck.
@@TreeFine thats crazy and its weird other guitar brands wont make some whit tt frets i quess they will in the future. so how you got the nx7 true fretboard cause i want one whit ebony isnt it only available if you buy a nx 7 true guitar?
Have you tried tuning this down? My understanding is that you can't tune down too much before essentially undoing the corrections that the adjustments are intended to make.
@@TreeFine I’m only asking because I found the Petrucci archetype sounded quite distant, compared to the Nolly, even after trying to adjust the mics and placement. I eventually downloaded a bogren IR pack and it took the Petrucci to whole new level. Love it now. If you ever think of trying IR’s I can highly recommend the bogren.
Beauty and wow.
Hi. Really enjoying your videos. Wonderful playing. I have the nx7 am loving it, but.... you put the true temperament neck in it!?, That's brilliant.
TT is amazing and subtle at the same time. I'm loving it.
As John Scofield would say... there should be more air between notes to express melodies ideas....
I'm a work in progress :)
hi where you bought this whit trem on i cant find anyone one. nice playing

I tune all my 7's to E standard with a low B. I haven't looked into how TT holds with other tunings, but I'm curious now.
What is the glowing red knob? Great playing, thanks for sharing
Thanks! I replaced the stock knobs with orange ones.
What are you plugging into? Neural DSP? Great playing btw.
Yes, Neural DSP all the way. This lead tone was crafted from the Petrucci rig.
@@TreeFine ah, I thought so. I use Nolly and also Petrucci. How do you find the IR’s on Petrucci?
@@radio5051 I don't know enough about IR's to answer that. Overall, the rig seems to offer quite a bit of flexibility and I haven't hit any walls yet.

@@radio5051 I'm very interested. Thanks for the recommendation.
