This is the neck from the Strandberg NX 7 True Temperament and the body from the NX 7 Prog. The necks are interchangeable, so this was a no-brainer, and so worth it.

@@TreeFine so did you change it by yourself? how you think about the tt frets does it sound alot more intonated by standard fretting? i want one but it have to have trem. the seems bit expensive

@@BFHPET The necks are interchangeable and you can easily do this yourself. I had a local dealer do the work, however. Regarding whether TT works? Yes, it works. More intonated is an understatement. Every note will be dead on, no matter where you are on the neck.

@@TreeFine thats crazy and its weird other guitar brands wont make some whit tt frets i quess they will in the future. so how you got the nx7 true fretboard cause i want one whit ebony isnt it only available if you buy a nx 7 true guitar?

Kinda, you'd mostly use your right forearm in that case. Sans headstock, it's pretty easy to control in any position.

Yup, I called them to make sure the bolt pattern was a match. They assured me it would be a seamless swap, so I took it to the authorized Strandberg dealer here and had it done. I couldn't be happier, though I now have a 7 string hard tail that I never play 🤔

It's whatever Pale Moon option they had on the builder at the time. I don't think they called it "master grade," but that's also a bit of a subjective term.

@@TreeFine wow that's awesome. And with Kiesel, it seems like you can request master grade for most fretboards, and to woods too (though I think they actually rate top woods on a scale). From what I've heard master grade pale moon ebony fretboard is a $200 upcharge. It more or less means you will get a board with plenty of streaks/color and figuring I believe. So to get that as a standard board from the builder is really amazing I think... I have been trying to put a build together but have been on the fence about PME because of all that

@@SinysterSoundsOfficial For sure. I think I asked them to pick something with a lot of variation. My only regret is getting black inlays, because you really can't see them on this board. Good luck with your build.
