Huge difference to take into consideration when placing components from your library especially if you're using a UI kit as your design system across teams. You want to place your symbols through the insert link. The reason is that if you look at the difference in the symbol, one is a link one isn't. The one that is linked will allow you to copy-paste to and from other documents with that symbol while retaining the link to your UI kit library. This is important because if you update your team's library all your files get the updates. It fixes consistency issues across teams.
They are explaining 2+2=4 for 20 minutes. This is very productive esoteric information.
They are like ones who discover super uber special workflows.

Speeding the playback to 2x made it more manageable to watch. I picked up some good tidbits from them though still.
First time viewer and enjoying the video! Have you guys considered customizing your toolbar to add quick-buttons such as "insert symbol" and other expedited workflows? I noticed that one of you uses the right-click for "create symbol" while the other uses the main menu, but the "create symbol" quick button was right there in the toolbar. Just a thought! Keep the great videos coming, I like em!
Hey Ryan. I have done this, but only for things that I can't remember the keyboard shortcut. Honestly I use the Runner plugin more than anything. Thanks for the feedback!

Runner is not free any more guys, you have to pay them 20$, maybe it's a lifetime subscription, I hope sketch will add runner like feature inside their app for free.
The istock image from Craft is not masking with the oval shape I made. Sketch gives me a warning that says "Only shape layers are supported".

We'd love to help, but unfortunately we weren't able to replicate this issue in our projects. We're not sure what could be causing that problem.
