- Hey baes! In today's video I'll be giving an update on my locs. It's been a year since I stopped interlocking my locs and I've noticed a difference in the shape and formation of my locs since I stopped interlocking and began retwisting last summer. In this video I'll share my experience and discuss if I miss interlocking. I’ll also provide a close up of my locs where you can see the difference between my interlocked locs vs the retwisted locs!

Thanks for the video. I am only about five and a half months into my loc journey and I have a question, do you have any suggestion on how to keep my locs in the back from unraveling? I tried braiding them and they still come undone, should I try interlocking just that last row?

Hi, so I’m exactly one year loced, and I still feel my hair isn’t as thick as I want it to be. I have been interlocking my hair once every four months and I thought my hair would be thick but sadly it’s not, it’s still on the think side. Do you think it’s too late to get my locs thick at this point? I want to try retwisting instead of interlocking and I’m hoping it will get thick I hope it’s not too late cause I’m scared they’ll remain think since I’m already a year in.

Heyy, I was told that by interlocking it will be more difficult (or impossible) to eventually comb the locs out in future, is this true?🥰
@@awathiaw03 I would think so, the interlocking basically creates a braid like knot in your loc. I can’t imagine that being easy to comb out!

@@Thecatherinealexandrahi I’ve interlocked once and don’t plan to do it again because it has a weird feeling now and I heard it gives a braided pattern. I also don’t want them to be skinny.will they be fuller/thicker if I don’t interlock again?
@@Finevamp your locs will be fine. I interlocked mine about 4 times and as you can see my hair thickened up regardless!
