D'jeeco has an amazingly tolerant, personality. He is so patient, and playful with his two sons, and a wise referee with his two wives Tayari and Iriki. Quite the amiable fellow. ❤️♥️♥️💞🇨🇦

I don’t see the two mums cuddling and playing with their sons too often: it’s all about D’jeeco. The boys find him far more interesting to play with, and for a silverback, he is exceptionally tolerant. I love to see him playing with them, even if they do try his patience.

@Lynn Gold, so true! Is it sad to say, either by creation, accident or device, this Gorilla Dad has better "Dad qualities" than many men in our society. Just saying based on my me being a Father of two and siblings of 6.

It still cracks me up Iriki trying to groom D'jeeco, while he's playing with the kids. I watched a documentary on gorillas and it said that female gorillas are very attracted to silverbacks who are playful and affectionate with their young. Hence, Iriki trying to groom D'jeeco at such an inopportune time.
Only if they fathered the baby gorilla, the same affection doesn't apply if the baby isn't his

Love them so, so much! Their interactions are just so family-oriented, fun, funny, and NORMAL! They sure are a wonderful troop. D'Jeeco is so funny with his boys AND wives! He handles it all so graciously. ❤

iriki 都在ďjeeco分心的時候趁機 偷偷拔他的毛來吃，所以迪亞哥後背的禿洞沒有復原長回來，就是iriki三不五時的拔，造成的。而且迪亞哥也有揮手阻止iriki的行為。
好奇iriki 長期拔毛來吃 不會對消化系統有影響嗎？貓咪都要吃化毛膏或小麥草來排出毛了。
Iriki已經很少拔D'jeeco的毛了
昨天剛好近距離看迪亞哥, 左背缺洞的地方,如果四週毛長長的時候應該可以遮蓋過去😀

白天沒有被你們拍到iriki 拔毛 不代表晚上保育員下班，在室內沒有拔毛吃 ，那個禿洞就是證明，只是次數沒有那麼頻繁，也或許迪亞哥或多或少有自救阻止。
