Which clearly here, he's showing everyone his skills as a basketball player and skills as the captain of the Generation of Miracles.
Its a pretty random point but that sequence but its my favorite point in the entire show, just the constant trash talking they got before this into this beautiful three man play of murasakibara akashi and aomine finally destroying the opponents.

Through this anime that I discovered my inner passion for basketball. I also discovered that I have a talent very similar to Aomine, I am very good at formless shots, one-handed shots, shot creating - most of this when I am on fire or in the zone. It was one of the best moments of my life and I will never forget. Sadly, I was born in a very shitty poor country (Brazil) which made me abandon this passion due to no opportunities. In 2018 (at 13) I watched this anime and decided to play basketball again. Then after 2 years of intense training and many sacrifices, I never managed to be a part of an official team because there wasn't one and my family never gave a shit (especially my mom). Now after hitting depression in 2019-20, I'm trying to reconstruct my life and thinking about trying one last time.
