I remember thinking that Martin necks make from "Richlite" were likely stronger than real wooden necks. But my 4 year old DRS-2's neck started to pull up slightly probably because of using medium gauge strings on it. This even though medium gauge strings are what Martin suggested for that model. I lowered the saddle, and put light gauge strings on it. It is happier now.

You can get normal slotted bone pins on Amazon. They are really inexpensive. You can also get ebony ones.

With the longer scale length, I don’t know why they didn’t call it the OM-13E

What are you talking about dude? The scale length is the same scale length as a 000-28
