    Good video man - I've been considering a corded BnD drill. I feel confident in making that purchase now!

    Looks like the battery dropped a bar after that one hole. I gotta ask, the turbo mode is great and all, but is there a certain point that the higher rpm is actually bad for the tool being used?

    • @ClientGraphics
      @ClientGraphics  3 года назад +3

      There are specific rpm ranges (lower) for drilling into different types of metals that higher RPMs are not good.

    @ClientGraphics. Thanks Chris for sharing your tests. So far, the Flex looks like it can get the job done like all the others. We'll see how they fare over time in the US, reliability, ease for getting warranty repairs, and what sales deals can be had.
    Hope you and your family stay safe and well.

    Gonna need wrist support, the Flex looks like a good tool.

    • @ClientGraphics

      It was definitely a lot of drilling and screwing around. Trying to put a consistent force on with one-handed while not having to set up a contraption for testing.

    Hi and I love the video and I have a have a idea craftsman cmc820 vs the Milwaukee 2850-22CT vs the dewalt dcf885 the dewalt dcf885 is a brush the craftsman and Milwaukee is brushless tool

      I might have the Milwaukee 2850-22CT but nothing in the Craftsman power tool lineup. If it's on sale sometime and I can catch a good deal then maybe...

    That BnD is some old technology. I can't wait for tools that come out in 10+ years from now, to see the advancements.

      Better known as time tested, good value tech. Someone always waiting for the latest and greatest, just tells me they can't use tech because the problem of making holes was solved a century ago, now it's just about kids with 15 second attention spans watching youtube.
      Make something the same size but more powerful and you will either need more exotic and costly materials, or suffer higher failure rates. That's nothing 10 years from now that is going to change that.

    That DeWalt And that Milwaukee are mid grade drills, And not their best offering. You want the fuel 2804 or power detect DCD998.

    If you push the flex like that, it probably won't last an entire week. Far better to have a tool that doesn't push itself too hard and end up with it failing. On a jobsite, warranty doesn't get the done.
    Neither is the appropriate drill for repetitively drilling concrete.

    I think a lot of people got their panties into a bunch because of the Flex commercial. Their not going to come out and say our tools are somewhat better then everybody else's. Their looking for contractors to jump tool lines and to get someone to jump from Dewalt or Milwaukee is going to take some work. From what I've seen I think their better then everyone else but just barely. I know if I was in deep on one of the other tool lines I wouldn't be jumping ship. But if I was looking for an upgrade or starting out I would definitely consider this line. It seems innovative and forward thinking. Also the price for what your getting doesn't seem terrible. Just my 2c. Cool video.
