Amazing arranged song. Then the strings come in doing their part...then the guitar gently weeps with soul... And believe me, the live performance is the real deal with him doing that guitar solo.
You should listen to some of his blue grass tracks when he was with the band steel drivers before he began his solo tour. I had the pleasure of seeing them perform live at a festival in Virginia before he became famous. The man can sing anything and is a true national treasure. Nice reaction!
Saw CS live in Virginia Beach a few months back. He did a 20 song set with a 2-song encore. Glad I got to see him. He had his wife by his side, stage front, busting out those angelic background vocals of hers as well. Great show. Chris brings a freight train of emotion direct to your soul.....every time! She did and he blew up overnight at the CMAs when him and Justin performed .. he won new artist of the year album of the year and male vocalist of the year that night ! Rarely does that happen w a new artist !! Carrie Underwood did it .. that’s the last tome I can remember
