Han Solo is an iconic character in the Star Wars universe. As a kid I wanted a blaster and now thanks to Battle Arms I am able to shoot a working replica of the famous pistol.

You need to turn off storm trooper mode...
Almost lost it there. That was a hoot.
😂
Guess the can had plot armor to help too, huh?
When? I think he hit everything.
@@NaglfarCommando really? I thought the rounds were just going through fast enough that it didn’t move the can.
How this isn’t a sub 1000 firearm is beyond me
It is at canto arms
You can build it for cheaper.
The guy who did the paint didn't see much of that 2k price tag either...
AR Pistols are the dumbest designs and then going .22 caliber is even dumber. If you want to make a replica Solo blaster then start with the actual gun used to make the movie prop.
More like $500 ...even $1000 is generous
Now I know what those tracer .22lr rounds are for.
I would love a short of that thing full of tracers at night! Awesome video, thanks for showing us the firearm!
The price for the Han Solo Star Wars Blaster .22 should be $1977. Any true Star Wars fan will understand why.
Well it has the same accuracy as blasters did in the movies
Han was a great shot! But yes in general the blasters are pretty bad and pretty inaccurate… never understood, why would the imperial military/stormtroopers go with a blaster that’s literally designed to be fired from the WAIST as their primary weapon? I think their failure to even really be able to aim their weapons contributed to lack of accuracy as much as the blasters themselves😂my nerd-out rant of the day
Greedo got dropped
@@80spodcastchannelpoint blank range. Lol
Love it!! I picked up a professionally converted Denix C96 replica that was turned into a DL-44. Doesn't pew, but its screen accurate to ANH.
Canto Arms has been making one for a while for under $1000 (the "Nocturne 22 Heavy Blaster")... and they have kits so that you can have fun building one for yourself (including the parts to build the version carried by Cassian Andor). They also currently have what they call the "E-11D MKII Blaster Carbine"
This. I was early money on mine. No logo PSA lower, slick sided upper from I forget who, CMMG kit and barrel and the Canto arms parts and I’m less than half that even with an Ultradot pistol sight. The hardest part was waiting on the CMMG stuff. Although I’m thinking about changing it to Andor stuff. That is cool.
I love the editing work. Very nicely done, yet somehow subtle
Everytime mac says "and so you can see..." I think of the teacher with the chart "the more you F*** around, the more you're going to find out"
I remember that CMMG themselves made their own version of Han’s pistol, too! I think it was a limited run, though.
They still sell the parts so you can build your own.
@@FishKeprwhich parts
Thanks for putting this up! I just smiled through the whole video because we all know Han shot first!
The amount of misses, must of been an Imperial blaster.
Plot armor definitely helped for that then.
When? I saw him make a lot of hits.
I can't tell you how many times I have seen the Original Star Wars Episode IV. I am a sci-fi fan. I love both Star Trek and Star Wars.
Again? No, the DL-44 is a Mauser. Blaster props made out of an AR is a BlasTech A280.
Talk about a missed opportunity, Andor's A280-CFE blaster from "Rogue One" is an AR-15.
spot on
That's what it is a copy of, not Solo's pistol.
@Aaron Farnsworth Han Solo and Cassian Andor are two different Star Wars characters with two vastly different blasters. With Cassian's blaster being derived from an AR-15
Do try to follow along.
But Andor is fucking lame.
Canto Arms makes both. So you can build an andor blaster if you want.
You should do an episode on Star Wars guns like a storm trooper Sterling submachinegun, and the return of the Jedi jungle troopers who are actually rocking heavily covered Ar15’s
The $$$ is strong with this one.
Can't justify $2,000 for almost off the shelf parts. It is sick don't get me wrong.
Never tell me the cost.
you can get all the part for it at Canto arms i have had one for about 2 years
Canto arms the way to go. Half the cost
@@juanrivas1713 I'll have to look into it when I have time. Thank you.
Now they need to make a storm trooper blaster that shoots minute of barn door.
Ruger would be a good provider :)
I think it is really cool.
the price of that upper is flat out insane, and it looks NOTHING like a broomhandle mauser
Great, now I need one. Thanks.
Not into Star Wars but functional movie replicas are always fun!
You could have gotten it much cheaper from the original manufacturer of the parts (except for the knob on the side): Canto Arms. As a bonus, their lowers are labeled as model "DL-15" and have serial numbers of the pattern "TX-421-XXXXX".
i have had one for a while, had a blank lower and had it engraved with the rebel alliance logo and a dL-44 r2d2 s/n LOL
Remmington rimfire is a sacrilege to such a great recreation!
I built one for less than $500. So cheap fun if you want to put in the work.
CMMG's 22LR kit with a dedicated 22LR barrel is the same design. It's similar enough that it's actually a CMMG kit or a copy of the same kit with what looks to be a CMMG 4" 22LR barrel. The interface for conversion kits are what you described but both types use the same BCG. The only specialty items are the grip, safety switch and muzzle devise everything else is just off the shelf AR parts which hardly justifies the price.
bring back the gauntlet!
thank you that was a really cool gun
1:26 Stormtrooper aim.
I’ve had a BAD Workhorse for a little over 2 years, and I have to say that it was a great investment. I put an Armaspec silent capture buffer spring and a few other things on it. I’ve got a little over 2000 rounds through it, and it runs like a sewing machine, with no failures in my hands (I say that because my friend had one while shooting. Obviously I blame him 😂)
Tracers would be dope
For 2K Han solo himself better show up and shoot it for me.. Jesus!
For almost off the shelf parts at that. Lol. I was wanting it until O looked up the price. I laughed. They definitely making like 75% mark up. Its cool though.
Great video 👍 that is so cool . I'm a big Star Wars fan myself. Would love to own one as well.
Awesome! Oughta do well with Star Wars fans who love guns
Tim I really dig it, one day I may add one to the collection. But I still need to add some other ones first. I am to a StarWars die hard.
Awesome video, great idea of them to produce such firearm. The price tag is a little high though. A 9x19 version would be great too.
A 9 mil version would be awesome. But you would need one of those BCGs with the springs to try and make it bufferless. And I'm not sure you could make the BCG heavy enough to be direct blowback
Battle arms makes a 9mm pcc but it's straight blowback uses a proprietary buffer tube and stock system.
loving the stormtrooper aim.
I'm sooooo glad your shooting skills are much better as Han Solo vs a Stormtrooper😆🤘😉🤘
Looks to be a fun blaster from A Long Time Ago In a Galaxie Far, Far Away.
Just saw “Return of the Jedi” in the local park in the redwoods here in Eureka, CA last week. It was the “Forrest Moon Festival” for the 40th anniversary of RotJ! Really cool to see it ‘Drive-in’ style, as that’s how I saw it as a kid for the first time 40 years ago. 😊
Can you try the WW2 Stormtrooper assault rifle (E-17Blaster Rifle) ?
Very cool, I completely agree with buying guns just for fun. That's why I want a 1911 because of Hitman, I've loved those games for almost 20 years! I want a Commander because it ballances best in my hand. No rail, bushing barrell .9mm Luger.
Love the video and the hat we need more warrior poets
I read that the scope on Han Solo's gun was a sight from an M4 Sherman.
Depends on the film. ANH was a rifle scope. Empire and ROTJ were tank scopes but those aren't as iconic in my opinion. The blaster changed with each movie and the details are different.
Use number 4 steel wool to weather worn it. Just rub it where you want it worn. Easy to do.
I built a "Solo Blaster" 2-3 years ago that looked about as close as this one, even in today's prices you can easily do it for under $600...
I'm one Stormtrooper that actually can hit something. TK-71107 reporting in!
I love that "Blaster!!!" But I think I could build one a heck of a lot cheaper than 2K... LOL
Very cool! I hope they will have then in longer barrel lengths.
you can get a completed uppper at canto arms for 500.00 and make the lower for 75 using a scratch and dent from PSA and a mill spec lower parts kit
A company makes an AR-15 conversion that allows it to be fired with the stock folded. In other words, everything is in the upper receiver. No buffer tube needed. That kit would allow other calibers to be used for this type of pistol. 300 blackout would be fun or even a .50 caliber for the more adventurous. Make that toy into a REAL blaster!!
You should do a video on your Star Wars collection!
Pretty cool!
if you look around online a lot of people do this with those little henry survival carbines.
Like a few have said, Canto arms!!
Oh God. I need that shirt.🤣🤣
Hokey religions and ancient weapons are no match for a good blaster at your side
I love the grip! I would put one on my AR.
.22 tracers at night!!!! Have to get video of that.
Teasing Californians? We can't have this firearm either! If there were ever a firearm that screamed 5.7, This is it!
ive been wanting to build one of these for a few years now!
The fummy was that the was sold as a kit to convert an upper and lower into the pistol and it was not that expensive if I'm correct
Nice blaster
You could get a moderate c96 for that price
Damn that’s cool.
Now if somebody could make a Gi Joe XMLR3A👍🏻
Is there anything an AR can't do? This is impressive.
I have the cmmg .22 conversion kit. Have you had problems with yours? Mine doesn’t cycle very well.
Interesting pistol
Great video, GOLD LEADER!
Isn't that basically a tiny ejection port upper with a very short barrel and a cmmg 22 kit in it? I feel like I should just try to make one of these for myself as a project and see if anyone is selling the grip and a muzzle device for this.
Not gonna lie I watch most of these videos for the intro
I don't think he mentioned, but looks like it takes 15-22 mags?
yes
very cool. i think a 9mm version would be a lot better
I’m in the process of making one of these myself.
Actually Tim, the bolt catch is not mil-spec and comes with the .22 kit
you def need to get some .22 tracers for that thing!
why would it burn down at night but not during the day?
So. Cool!
Very cool
Very Cool. Looks like it needs a laser for aiming. Or does the can have a shield?
Cool gun! What’s the significance of the ring on your right hand?
Why not .300blk?
About time sombody make new C96 clones in 7.62x25 Tokarev.
It would have been even cooler in 9mm using those CMMG (I think) 9mm conversion magazines
Smith and Wesson m&p has no problem with that Remington ammo.. I’m sure it’s crap but the m&p is just a very reliable rim fire rifle..
Canto arms has one too and a dark troop blaster rifle
THANKS MAC....l like you ring...
Shoe🇺🇸
I have been meaning to build one of these, but I lost the lower for it. I have a New Frontier lower made of polymer. It is not strong enough for 5.56 but should be fine with .22. I want to make the weapon rather light for its size. Darn it, where did I loss that lower at? I am missing half a dozen lowers in my shop someplace.
I'm an instructor through the uscca and I have their insurance
I want one. Some lightsabers called $2000 so to have a working blaster is cool. If it was legal for where I live haha
you should mention that you need to shim the mag or get the adapter for the sw15 mags
I was going to ask if there's an adapter in the magwell, I've considered getting the redi-mag adapter for my cmmg conversion
Super Awesome 😂
Canto Arms also makes kits to do this.
sure wish I bought a case of Federal "SPITFIRE" ammo back in 95, I shot a grey squirrel through the eye at 100 yards with my S&W 422 6 inch offhand, just point shoot kill ammo, I shot a one-hole group at the range at 50 yards, and I still have the tail of that poor animal on my wall!
You can get tracer .22
Should have compare with a prop Han Solo gun blaster as well
Are they selling those pistol grips and muzzle devices separately?
As others have said, look at Canto Arms.
@@jabbott1981 thank you very much for the information
