More more more on release. At 60 yrs old we did not have the info out here now. The worst thing the media did was show us the lag in still frame. That made me hang on for dear life n never truly release naturally. Still have issues with this cuz it feels like flipping to me. When i can release around corner ball flight a bit lower n longer distance... ty for your lessons!

How does the 90-90-90 position of the right arm at the top of the backswing jibe with the low backswing you show in this video?

As a taller golfer, this has been a very difficult principle to adhere to. Consequently I have an upright swing that I do not like.

You should seek 50 degrees in this case.

Yes I’m the same. 6,4 and it is hard to feel the arc. When I swing in the garden I can swing flat and get so much speed. As soon as a ball is there I’m done.

Steve, do you advocate this flatter plane for the irons too?

He mentioned 60 degrees being ideal for a 7 iron, so I imagine the driver (45 degrees) may be similar to long irons - 3, 4, 5 and then move closer to 45 degrees from 6 iron and up. Just my interpretation

swing it with your hips,,,,,,arms and hands follow,,,,,,too hard to time arms/hands consistantly,,,,,try it,,,,,,,,do small driving chips first and work your way up
