Holy crap is this great! I’ve been on a David Gray binge the past 1-2 weeks since discovering, for the first time I’m ashamed to say, “Nemesis”. I’ve loved the guy since White Ladder but had not kept up with him. This version of Night blindness just rocks your soul. No one this side of Springsteen puts more of themselves into their performances. What a Dude this guy is!
Adore this singer, his song writing skills are just out of this world add his voice and I am completely captive to David Gray's music. Thank you for giving a voice to my soul.
The way that David takes what I may slightly uncharitably call ‘album tracks’ such as this and refines them into set piece songs is just incredible. Songcraft at its finest.

The power and feeling in that live show. Is nuts. He went through something. He never sang those songs better. My top 5 singer songwriters. Hey man, it's not that one. I have the dvd and have played it a billion times. This version is more up tempo. I prefer the version you're talking about. IMHO, That is pure perfection.
Its on the double cd draw the line the second CD is these live songs exact same it's my favorite by far... Also sail away version to my favorite. And other side also my favorite version...I cannot stress enough all 3 of these versions are the just unteal from the passionate yell to start sailway and caps it off at the end too there's a added passion..and other side the same and again night blindness how he makes 11 minutes seem short. "Living it up laughing it up laughing it up living it up on other side of the world" ... Also slow motion too very good.....it's not a hard CD to find but it's the easiest....
Yeah sucks, I had this version of Draw the Line with the bonus live tracks, but I lost it. It was one of the last cd's I ever bought lol, was like 10 yrs ago. I cannot find that version of "the Other Side" or "Sail Away" anywhere. They were incredible though

How David put everything together in this sequence is absolutely magical! Probably his best performance ever! So jealous of the guys at this concert.
