"My Pillow" is likely the most marketed pillow out there. But will it live up to the hype? I slept on the "Premium Version" for 2+ weeks and in this video I share the results of my trial with you. There is also a segment where you can see me wearing my CPAP mask while using My Pillow.

I am well aware that the volume is very low in this video. It was recorded on a 2nd generation Kindle Tablet, for Pete's sake. I made this very early on in my YouTubing and if you watch my more recent videos you'll see that it had improved a lot. Please bear with me. You can get an extension from Chrome or Firefox called Enhancer for RUclips. It has a setting called Boost Volume located next to the volume button. Hopefully you can edit your review to add this tip since people don't always read the comments.
In my opinion I'm laying on mine from Walmart for the first time right now. I brought a new pillow because I washed mine and then I couldn't get the lumps out of it. Well I wish I looked it up before I purchased it because the is lumpy also and I'm not anything near comfortable right now. So I'm lying in bed watching reviews to see if it was supposed to be like this or not and yup apparently for the first time I wish I bought the $7.88 pillow I got the kids

Here's what I noticed...I find the Mypillow classic series is better then the premium. The two inch gusset on the premium allows the memory foam extra room to spread around hence having to re fluff during the night. The classic series holds all the guts more snug in place. You might also want to try the blue loft rather than the green.

dugroz believe you me i did extensive testing on all color lofts and and premium vs classic vs coop home goods bamboo vs Snugglepedic (both highest rated and best seller on Amazon) and I always go back to my green loft Mypillow classic going on 4 years. I tried the Blue loft buy I don't have very broad shoulders and weigh 170 lbs and it was still soft and comfortable but the hight was a little much for me. If you are a shirt size XL or larger and around 200 lbs I would suggest the blue. Definitely looking forward to the classic vs premium video. I am subscribing to your channel now so I won't miss it...

The my pillow pillows we're not comfortable for me but the mattress topper is pretty comfortable & supportive IMHO.

The negative you mentioned: having to reposition the fill when turning from back to side, is a plus for me. I want a moldable pillow and the purpose of this pillow would be negated if it kept an even constant fill across it without having to reposition.

Try Costco's moldable foam pillow for under $20.00. If it doesn't work, you can always take it back. $80.00 retail for "interlocking foam" is a marketing scam only Americans would fall for. Folks, it's foam. As long as air can pass through it, it will change and hold its shape. No magic, no "famous interlocking foam," just a little play on words for a lot of money.
@@kennyw871 would you tell me the exact name of that pillow? I looked on their site and there was a ton of pillows on there. None that I saw were under $20. Just wanna know which one if you please! Guess I'm back on the never ending search for pillows again. My rotten, tight neck may possibly never see relief!! Thanks
I’ve had a great experience with them. They had the standard one for $19.95 so figured what the heck.
I didn’t get the correct one for my 6ft 5 gigantic body/head. Called them, they sent me their premium(?) blue one. I was able to mold it well after the initial 15 minutes in the drier as they show in the instructions.It was perfect. Im able to adjust it as I tend to move side to side, but not really needed with this one. Only charged me $3 for the upgrade.
So far it’s been a great experience and better than my flat pillows or pure memory foam ones.
Like medicine or supplements every body reacts to things differently I guess. It’s been perfect for me & their customer service was outstanding.

I did a 60 day trial on the green, did a 60 day trial on the white and I just ordered a yellow to try. Hopefully this one will be my fit. Green was a bit too firm, white a bit lumpy so I'm going to try the yellow. Thanks for your review.

Seriously, good luck! I was so optimistic about this pillow, and everything, only to wind up disappointed. I have patience too, but apparently an inferior product. The fact that they don't replace them is bad business.10 yr warranty, really?? Sigh!
I'm back to sleeping on the green nightly. You have to bunch the pillow up under your neck and you can not sleep with your shoulders on the pillow or you can wake up with a stiff neck. I stopped using it for awhile and used just a regular pillow but I found myself yawning all day with the regular pillow so I went back to the green and as long as you sleep on it with your neck and head only it works really well to give you a great nights rest.

You got the green pillow, you should of gotten the blue filled one it’s nice and firm. I am about your size I order the blue and it’s the best pillow that I ever bought and I bought lots of pillows. Your head is going to sink in all the pillows that you’re going to try, that’s why you should of gotten the blue filled my head adjusted to it just fine and I have a cpap mask to.
Green is what their web site suggested for my size, but I hear what you're saying. Maybe some day I'll try again!

Thx for the thorough review. Idk, but it seemed as if your head was slightly raised! Slightly. I was wondering about the neck. Mine is rotten, n am thinking of buying this. Need a pillow for my poor neck as I've tried soo many.! You're young n prob don't have neck issues, but I'm worried about head alignment for myself after seeing the vid.

@@oohyllab ahhhh. I had high hopes. I do too have Scoliosis. Can't find a Damn pillow that is worth. I just purchased one at Tjmaxx called Allecare or Allercare very soft, but got stolen from me by my husband who has a problem with every pillow. So now I have to buy them again. It cost me $17 for two. But wanted to know if there is something better cause I am out of loss.

I love mine. Sleep right through the night, now no waking up to adjust. I don't have to beat mine into submission. Too bad it didn't work for you. Very biased review though.. I'm buying my whole house one. 💜

Generally, bias would be present when a product is recommended, as one could claim I have a desire to sell the pillows. Clearly, here I don't. The big question is how does the pillow hold up over time? I have had a lot of pillows that were great the first 3 weeks but after then flattened out and got hard and I had to put a towel under the pillow to keep it up to a height I like. I have ordered a MyPillow pillow and I'm going to give it a try and see how it holds up over time.

I know i'm crazy but 50.00 for a pillow i'm not that crazy
Then this will not be good for me because i move and change positions when i'm sleeping like more than 20 times per night.
The pillow fill can be smushed into any shape, it ain't made of quick drying cement...
So you can mold it to the different positions.
If you buy TWO pillows, (there is a DEAL for 2 Pillows for $100.00, and don't most people have two pillows on their beds?), then you can switch between the two for your different positions.
I was actually amazed, I didn't think my Husband would be happy with any pillow,
he has LOTS of aches from so many years of construction work,
but after one night, he commented that it stayed puffy, supported his neck, and didn't go flat,
which most if not all, pillows do.
So he is happy with them, and that is saying something!
The fill you choose is what makes the difference.
I wouldn't have replaced every pillow in my Home, and Cabin, if they weren't as good as they say.
That was an order for 20 pillows.
They are worth it.
SO FAR.
I have not washed any of them yet.
I normally have to throw pillows away, once they get yellow, and flat, and stained.
And unfortunately, I have one Son who has bad Acne, and he bleeds a lot, so the pillows get disgusting pretty fast.
You CAN'T wash other pillows successfully without them turning into lumpy wads of crap.
So you're just throwing your money away.
Even a cheap pillow is going to cost you between $15 and $20 dollars.
That adds up to a couple hundred dollars a year!
With these "My Pillows", you are supposed to be able to just throw them into the washer and dryer,
like your "favorite pair of jeans...
and they are Guaranteed for 10 Years, so...
We will see what happens, and how they hold up.
I am hoping they are as good over the long haul as they say, and they wash and dry as they advertise. :)
this pillow makes you not change positions as much i use to switch positions 20 times a night too not will MYPILLOW i only change positions maybe 2 or 3 times

I just woke up so I’m in the bathroom with the ceiling fan on and I can hear your video just fine. My question is, do they make a pillow where you don’t wake up & have to beat it into submission?😟. I like the Beautyrest color coded pillows for Back,Side, & Stomach sleepers but I don’t even think Sears is in business anymore. I purchased 4 off of QVC & they were not the same. Returning them was costly. My next question, What does My Pillow charge for S&H and how much $$ am I Out if I return the pillow? This would have been helpful information.

In my experience the pillow was pretty nice for the first couple weeks but by two months of use it is flat and I have to use another pillow under it to get the support I once had.
Wash and dry it again.

Everybody is different. I got mine from Bed Bath and Beyond which had only Medium. I used to have to sleep high up, but since my lower lumbar is out I sleep Low.. So, with the MY Pillow..it brought me back up higher. I may have to get used to it. I'm okay with it so far.

Make sure to buy from website. Easiest and incredibly cheap rn. I’d suggest blue for most ppl. Just remember the instructions: 15 minutes in the drier before use.

I did not like the my pillow. Slept on it one night and took it back the next morning. The pain in my neck doubled with one night of sleep on this pillow. I do however have a medical condition in my neck and this may not apply to someone who does not. Yet my experience not worth the $40 I paid for it. My suggestion is try the pillow because it may work for you and then if you don't like it ship it or take it back
I've been using a foam chunk pillow for the last 12 years and I absolutely love it! Mine was made by a local craftsman; it has a zipper so that I can add or remove foam as needed. I reposition frequently during the night, switching from sleeping on my back to one side or the other, and that is precisely why I appreciate this kind of pillow so much! It holds it 's shape, so that the center is low (for when I'm on my back) and the sides are high (for when I roll onto my shoulders). I think that mine is a little bigger than yours, though, and has more filling. If you tried a King sized MyPillow with the Blue fill level you might have the same happy sleep experience that I've had for so many years?
Regular foam will hold its shape too. No magic "interlocking foam" is real or necessary. It's expensive hype!

My Pillow sucks!!! Sorry I didn't return it. When I used to sleep on it I would wake up with really sore hips and a neck that wouldn't move. Pure pain for 3 to 5 days!!!

the pillows are fabulous I have 5 s/q pillows and My family uses these pillows as well, never will another pillow compare
I just bought my pillow and love it. The foam filling, whether it is "inter-locking" or not, moves freely in the pillow and stays supportive all night for me. I don't understand the extreme comments, it does not seem to be a scam, it's a well made pillow, that is supportive, can be washed and dried in your own home laundry room, comes with a 10 year warranty and a 60 day money back g if you don't like it. Most people keep the same cheap, smelly pillow for too many years, open your wallet and get this pillow.
I'm 5 2" and use the travel size pillow for slide sleeping, it's aligns my neck perfectly. I also put one between my knees to cushion my knees, and align my hips better. I love the standard or King for a body pillow, or to prop myself up to sleep on my back or watch TV. If I lay flat on back, I snore and stop breathing(I know, sleep apnea). I like how you can even scrunch it under your neck, like a roll, to support it if your laying on your back. I'm spoiled now for any other type of pillow, because they are all non adjustable.

On the My Pillow website, you can actually order the guy as a bobble head, as well as a life size card board cut out of him holding his pillow! ~ XD (why anyone would actually want that.......other than to be traumatized into never being able to sleep again is beyond me!)

dugroz you need to sleep on it for a night really .an crunch it up .an bend it .twist it .hit it .then tell us .i have one .but its not good .but i use it Its not good to sleep on foam. It has chemicals in it i think ?but use a heavy pillow case .

the my pillow is a different experience that is for sure! I have always used regular pillows without much of a problem except that I was tossing and turning all night and tired a lot. The my pillow has a way of giving you a good night sleep but with stiff neck side effects if you sleep on it wrong. You have to position the pillow under your head and it's meant to keep you there so that you don't toss and turn and so you are well rested. When I went back to the regular pillow, I yawned all day long the next day. Just a quick fyi.

Yep, got mine at Costco for less than $20.00. It works fine even without "Famous interlocking foam."
There's pillows out there that cost way more! I don't mind the expense if it truly holds up to its claims. There's people out there payin $50 and more for hair cuts, pedicures, etc.

Just the fact that you need to adjust the inner fill would discourage me from buying this. What if in the middle of the night you change positions & will need to beat on the pillow again so it feels normal is ridiculous.

It IS ridiculous, & is now JUST what I have to do punch around on it to get it where I need it, then wake myself all up!!! So damn mad about this pillow. Looked for yrs, tried everything out there like the guy says in the commercial, & nothing worked. Pillows higher priced than the My Pillow!! Worked great at first till it flattens and gets all soft. Disgusting!!
Audio is terrible... wasn't able to hear it and my laptop has great sound.
I bought 2...hate them. Left a negative comment on their Facebook page. The comment I left was....all hype, no substance...they subsequently removed my comment and blocked me! How childish...do not fall for the hype.
Did you get your money back? I hope so, but crooks usually make returns very painful and time consuming. They'll probably try to block this comment too.

Creating a "perfect" pillow for everyone, is just an impossible proposition to begin with. If you bought into their marketing tactic, I hope your $60 was well worth it.

This pillow took my morning headaches away starting night one. The pillow may not be for everyone. But my pillow holds all night while i switch positions. Its prob. Just you sleeping wrong

Thanx for the quick reply. I think I saw that one at Costco not long ago. I may give it a try. Can you actually sleep on your back with your Apnea? My Apnea doc told me that she does not set up the machine to work when I am on my back, which I think is ridiculous. She wants me to only sleep on my side.
Yeah, my doctor said it's fine to sleep on my back. Funny story, before I used a CPAP (about 8-9 years ago), my Chiropractor told me that I should really sleep on my back. Within a couple months, my ear-nose-throat doctor told me I should sleep on my side to keep my airway open!
It was very frustrating, thankfully, my CPAP allows me to back-sleep and keep that airway open.
Having said that, I'm not a doctor, so do whatever your doctor recommends!!!!

Listen, if a pillow costs 10x more than a conventional pillow, sold over 25 million so far and the buyers are not protesting neither is the government looking into what seems to be a scam then it must be a good product. That was the logical conclusion I jumped into before buying myPillow. It was the best investment of my life! I absolutely love it! I bought it in Walmart when there are only 2 left on the shelf and I had to run back to get the last one. I am a light sleeper and wherever I turn the pillow picks the pattern and locks it. Before you start reviewing out of jealousy or spite, do your homework properly. The pillow guys did not even attack your fake reviews because they are too busy meeting the needs of frustrated ones who would wish to have a better pillow for better sleep anyways. You have to give reviews if it's not necessary....
Better idea. Cheaper idea. Go buy some pillow case and a bunch of different types of filling. Sew it shut and boom.

They claimed the stay cool, they do not.

I found there was a $9 pillow at a US Walmart that fills in all of my requirements. Too bad I am in Canada and it is not easily accessible.
