Taking a WWII War Bird Beech 18 to Sun n Fun

  • Flying an 82 year old War Bird Beech 18 to Sun n Fun. We had a smooth flight down and managed to be the last plane to land before they shut down the airspace for the afternoon air show. 10 seconds made the difference.
    Don't for get to check out the video on the abandoned Cessna 182 Sky Lane. Both airplanes where owned by the same owner and sat at the airport for 14 years. These planes where destined for the scrap yard. Thankfully I was able to purchase these planes and rescue them from the scrap yard.

    I have over 800hrs PIC time in a Beech 18 with zero tail wheel time as this beech had a nose wheel. I flew cargo out of KRFD

    Always loved the Beach 18. Takes a lot of dough to keep her flying.
