I’m glad that you like the infotainment system in the RDX. There are a lot of negative reviews about it but you have to use it to understand it. I own the RDX ASPEC and love the system. I will say it took a lil while to learn it but it is because when using CarPlay it isn’t 1 to 1 touch. That was the tricky part for me until I got used to it. Like you I like the position of the trackpad and not having to reach to touch the screen. It just makes sense while driving. Unfortunately, not everyone feels that way so that’s why Acura started phasing it out, starting with the recent MDX.
I like the trackpad system - it keeps my eyes on the road. I also like all the buttons and knobs in my TLX too. Touchscreens have been failing all over the place and no way they last 10-20 yrs like some older Acura Honda's do end up lasting.
