Hello everyone! Welcome back to our channel. Today's topic is all about the intricate behaviors of narcissists that you may have observed but might not fully understand. We're delving into the daily patterns of narcissists, specifically what they do when they feel disregarded. So, buckle up and get ready for some fascinating insights into the world of narcissistic behavior.
Have you ever observed the erratic behavior patterns of a narcissist? How do they oscillate between extremes with such intensity that it can leave you feeling unsteady? They can transition from being a complete stranger to expressing an overwhelming interest in you, only to suddenly disregard you, leaving you in a state of confusion and uncertainty. This unpredictable conduct is a typical strategy of narcissists, and it serves a specific purpose.
Narcissists have a tendency to withdraw their attention abruptly from individuals they have previously shown an intense focus on. This might seem puzzling, but there's a method to this madness. The reason behind this is their desire to destabilize the individual they are involved with. They enjoy creating a sense of unease in the other person, making them question their self-worth and confidence.
The ultimate goal for narcissists is to validate their self-worth. They enjoy the game of attracting you, making you interested in them, and then feigning indifference. It's a twisted form of self-assurance where they convince themselves and you that they are unfazed by your presence or absence. It's a power play, where they derive satisfaction from seeing you in a state of anxiety, triggered by their unpredictable behavior.
When a narcissist suddenly disregards you, when they withdraw and you respond as they expect - feeling nervous, questioning their abrupt change in behavior, and inevitably seeking them out for an explanation - it serves their purpose. Your concern, your attempts to understand what went wrong, all these reactions feed their ego. It gives them a sense of importance, a validation they crave. It's exactly the reaction they anticipate when they abruptly withdraw after a period of intense attention, often referred to as 'love bombing'.

And when my ex did that at month 6; I let my ex know I was uncomfortable. She immediately blocked me and I guess went on with her life 😂😂 I didn’t chase her or ask why she block me I feel like it probably was a reverse reaction and reverse block to make me chase and it didn’t work!! I let her do what u do because I will never talk to her dumb ass again😂😂 she can believe that I will never reconnect or chase so honey 🍯 byeeee

By ignoring my ex narcissist boyfriend I got him to chase after he said he no longer wanted me or my number so I gave him what he wanted I changed my number and blocked him out of my social media page. Months after it was over he would call my daughter's phone trying to start arguing with her and disrespecting her thinking his actions were going to get me to react and respond of course I didn't agree with anything he was saying or doing but I told my daughter don't take nothing he said or did personally this is him thinking I'm gonna call him (NOT)🎉❤😊

Why put her in that situation? Why not block him on her phone as well so u aren’t allowing him to stress her out!

I'm so proud of you for taking those strong steps to protect yourself and your family from your ex's manipulative behavior. Ignoring a narcissist and cutting off all contact is often the healthiest approach, even when they try to provoke a reaction. Stay firm in your boundaries, and don't let his attempts to get under your skin succeed. Your daughter is lucky to have your guidance through this. Wishing you continued healing and peace as you move forward.
