Great review! I have this exact same sweater and its good for the price, but I need something better. Do you know of any brands that make thicker wool sweaters? I know there's Irish aran sweaters with cable knit which I'm also looking into, but I'm also looking for a thicker simple sweater for the office in spring/autumn (something like this uniqlo sweater but more better)

The Uniqlo lambswool sweater is thicker if that's what you want. Muji is also a good alternative, as are Cordings, Hebtroco, Rubato, John Smedley etc if you can stretch your budget.
