  • We have a wooden block of uniform composition and it's placed in water with a known mass-density. We measure the amount of the block that gets displaced and then move the block into an unknown liquid where the submerged depth is different than that of the water. How do we determine the mass-density of this unknown liquid using what we know about displaced volumes of fluids and buoyancy?
