Which of these “Drag Race” moments got to YOU the most? Let us know below, and be sure to check out our video of the Top 20 RuPaul's Drag Race Queens That Left Too Soon - ruclips.net/video/BkGCI-TAPyo/видео.html
I had a short conversation with them a few years back, as she has hosted a few seasons of Drag Race viewings. We’re both conversion therapy survivors, and season 10 was the first season I saw fully, so I felt like I wasn’t alone. I’m also a rape survivor, and Blair’s experience hit home for me again. In one month, there were queens (who I wasn’t sure I’d ever see in person) who helped me deal with and overcome my personal trauma.
Actually me too. Blair St Clairs phony R*pe story is a stunt. Shes using her white privilege there, trying to stay in the competition so she makes up a horrific story about getting r*ped just before shes up for the elimination and produce a roxxxy andrews redemption for herself. Booooooo. That was so obvious to me. I'm not new to stunts and evidently neither was Ru cause he still sent her AZZ home LOL
@@ashleydowney1222she was threatened in college for being gay and had to go into hiding in a different dorm for a few weeks. Homophobic students tried to break into her dorm room and called her saying they were gonna kill her.
Katya's heart-to-heart always makes me sob, because her fans (including me) love her so much but she didn't love herself then and I was crying so hard.
Roxxxy's story about her mom leaving her at the bus station with her sister when she was 3 ... that was just ... it shows how strong Roxxxy is to get where she's now
Every time they speak about HIV makes me sob. I lost an uncle to HIV and he didn't want nobody in the family to know, especially my grandma (his mom). I feel like he died feeling such shame and it breaks my heart every single time. 😔
So sorry about your loss. I’ve always had a special place in my heart by the generation we lost. Recently, was diagnosed and it’s just a surreal experience. Especially being more scared of the stigma than the diagnosis itself.
Anastarzia Anaquay from Canada's Drag Race S1, story about being shot multiple times and almost killed back when she was doing drag in Barbados should definitely be on this list, my jaw was on the floor 😥😥😥
i think a lot of younger LGBTQI+ people don't realize that a certain generation of gay men is practically missing - so many died during the height of the AIDs crisis that there's a distinct void.
I’ve been going through a rough spot of late in my life and had a Jasmine Kennedie moment where, while discussing an issue over the phone, I came out as gay to my dad, crying and saying how scared I was to tell him. The most beautiful moment was my dad acknowledging his prior knowledge and his love for me regardless.
I am so so happy for you my friend 💜💜 I'm so happy you have a supportive understanding dad. And I hope both of you are doing ok, please take care of yourself my friend. You were so brave to do that 💜
The Story of Anastarzia from Canada's Drag Race Season 1 as well as Boa's story should had been in the video. Even Anetra's story about her mom hating her. Those where hard.
I think Chi Chi's passing truly broke my heart. The tribute to her was so beautiful and lovely! Katya's talk with Fame, Blair's horrible sexual assault experience was devastating to me because she is so sweet and lovely, The Pulse event was horrific and and act of pure Terrorism, Kim Chi's struggles, Ongina and Trinity living with HIV+, and poor Dusty being tortured by her parents and the church and so many more. I agree with Nina West's college story should have been there as well. I think it's shameful that in this day and age all this hatred still exists and the reason it is such a huge issue is because the Orange moron who ruined the contry for 4 years told all these cretins that it's ok to beat, belittle and even harm anyone who is different. He gave them a platform and voice and it's mind boggling that people still think he's the second coming of Christ when he's really a very dark evil being from the pits of Hell! We as human being need to take a long hard look at the world and see how screwed up it has become and that all this hate mongering needs to be stop or there won't be a civilization and world in a few years' time! 😢😢😢 No one deserves to suffer at the hand of another so-called human be it animal or man/woman!!! 😡😡😡
The fire at the Pulse nightclub was determined to be an anti-LGBTQ+ hate crime. I remember when it happened. I watched it happen on tv. I also remember the fire at the Station nightclub in Vermont. That one was due to the morons who owned the club allowing the band Great White to use pyrotechnics even though they knew the insulating foam in the building was extremely flammable. Hearing the two queens talking about what happened at the Pulse was heartbreaking.
All these made me tear up and that's why I appreciate Drag Race so much, because they leave in the emotional and vulnerable moments that teach the viewers the lesson that everyone is human even if they're on national TV.
you know, michelle during as2, it’s one thing to say “i’m apologizing to you in front of a camera”, but saying “i don’t apologize to my children”(she was smiling while saying that), i feel sorry for her daughters, and i just watched turning red, i just hope they resolved that generational trauma soon, apart from the sunglasses, there’s a lot of red flags in the talk between michelle and adore outside, from michelle’s body language and tone i mean, i’m glad adore quit as2, mental health over competiton(really wish queens have that mental state of “if it’s for your own health, it’s for your health” instead of “don’t waste your chance” whenever a queen quits), even though adore quitting started that whole s6 curse(s6 queens doing poorly and/or quitting all stars), i’m so glad tkb(and bianca and laganja) broke that curse in as6, i mean, at least darienne lake had a normal all stars elimination in as8
I don't understand the hype over Kandy Muse. She's got a mean energy that I don't care for. She's second only to Roxxy Andrews for queens who I just don't understand why people like them. Too each their own I suppose.
I almost wanted to cry with them as well (and i don't have an onion bowl by my side) happy monday night, Samantha. Take care and God bless you. Greetings from Colombia to you as well
Speaking on the topic of Monica, Kylie and Jasmine being proud and openly transgendered. About a year after her drag, race appearance Gigi Goode revealed that she underwent the transgender operation (that TikTok sound I was thinking) and has used she/her pronouns in and out of drag for two proud years since 2021. Sorry if I don’t mention other drag queens but I love everyone equally it’s just Gigi is my favourite drag queen
For the coming out section of the list, you forgot that Season 9's Peppermint came out in the werkroom after Snatch Game in kind of the same context as would later be seen by Jasmine Kennedie on Season 14 only Peppermint's was not during untucked
Blair's past really touched me beause I was raped in college too and this moment really traumatized me and made me fear men I even thought about ending my own life and hating men for making me dirty but one man changed it and made me overcome my fear and move on and now this experience became my source of strenght to fight hard and achieve every goals I put to myself and those rapers are in jail now
I've been sexually assaulted and harassed multiple times throughout my childhood by both men and women. It has taken me years to get to the point where I don't blame myself for the attacks anymore, and I'm only 21 years old! I was wearing a distinct shirt when I was assaulted at 15 during a school trip, and I couldn't touch the shirt again until 2 years later when I wore it to school in an attempt to free myself from that trauma. My friends at the time understood how important that moment was for me and helped me feel beautiful and loved. The shirt is still ripped from the attack. I haven't fixed it, and I never will. Some may say it looks cheap and trashy now, but I like it just the way it is.
Roxxxy unfortunately didn't get too much sympathy from me because she of all people should be more compassionate based on her abandonment and experience yet she was horrible to Jinkx. I feel bad that her mother abandoned her children but being abusive to others is not strength but bullying!! LaGanja was upset but it was pretty shameful how she tried to play for sympathy! I'm glad she grew up and realized how words can be distressing to others.
Good lord when Kim Chi gave her advice to her younger self, I had to turn off the tv and sob because that's the exact same thing I wish someone could have told me when I was a kid struggling with severe depression
I was moved, touched and inspired by every Queen on your list, with the exception of Roxxxy. While i'm sad for her if she had abandonment at the bus stop....she picked an interesting time on the show to pull that story out. I know there's the whole "blame it on the edit" stuff, and it's reality/fake TV to a certain degree.... but you can't edit hatefulness IN....every edit was something real that she'd said or done. Chi Chi and Saraha were two of my favorite Queens of all time.....I cried again being reminded of our loss of them from the world. I'm glad Roxxxy has fans....plz, y'all, don't come after me! I'm an old 60 year old, white CIS woman....who loves Drag Race (and all the franchises thereof)....it is my happy place. We all have different opinions. Peace and love, truly.
20:31 There are so many people who shouldn’t be parents…. Forcing a woman to have a child against her will is criminal as it is a very real threat to her life. if a person chooses to have a child, they have a responsibility to be a parent. But the parents of this country have utterly and totally failed their children.
Roxxy andrew’s story is a bit too high up for my taste, I laugh everytime i watch that clip. Cause it came at a moment where she probably would’ve been eliminated and felt like a last minute grasp to stay in the competition
It always baffles me a group of people who are trying to break stereotypes binaries and groups sometimes are the first to put themselves into a stereotype binary and group by sobbing about being “non binary” saying it is creating a binary …
Number one hit me the hardest. Like Chi-Chi have a form of scleroderma. Chi Chi was a beautiful bright light. I can only hope her passing and the passing of Bob Saget brings awareness to this awful disease.

12:49 The fact that Alissa clocked Adore so quickly shows how caring she is to every queen she's with
I guess that's probably why she is such a devoted teacher and mentor in her dance academy.
That was hilarious just Alyssa talking shade in the mirror and turns around deadpan like Adore are you okay? Alyssa is so unintentionally hilarious
It touched me
Not a soul can clock
Chi Chi's Tribute really made me cry when It came out. Rest in Power, Chi Chi 🙏🏼❤️
Dusty’s conversion therapy story genuinely made me cry 😢

I agree 100% it should've been on this list
It broke my heart hearing about that awful experience 😥
@@courtneypennington4613What was Nina's story? I haven't watched her season in awhile. And I don't remember her story.
@@ashleydowney1222she was threatened in college for being gay and had to go into hiding in a different dorm for a few weeks. Homophobic students tried to break into her dorm room and called her saying they were gonna kill her.
Brought me to tears, so heartbreaking

I know right and Katya went back to drugs after this as well!! Addiction is a disease
Katyas always gets me because she is so loved by others and its heartbreaking to watch her struggle and not know how amazing she is

Kim Chi's 'The things I hate myself for are the things they love me about" hits to me the most since I can trully relate to that.

The Story of Nina West on S11 Should have been here too.
The story of Trixie Mattel on season 7 about her dad as well. That was so hard to listen.

That number 20 didnt have to happen. Like, dude, its snatch game... you know you have to volley around with everyone who passes the ball to you.
People like Roxxy Andrews?! I hated that sneaky two faced queen. Alaska and Detox had to "chop off" other most worthy queens to save Roxxy
@@charliejoson9145 it was an strategy after all, dirty but oh well.
Umm Roxy is actually a really nice person and has something to offer on stage. Kandy is like dead fish
