you'll really notice each of their voices improve over time, from great to even better. they have the person whose voice is most suited to the line to sing it. since scott is a baritone that seems to be the voice most suited for many songs. an early favorite, an original, 'sing' is super fun and upbeat. compare that to most recent 'kiss from a rose' to see the growth and improvement. 'kiss from a rose' is really amazing vocally..and otherewise. better than seal's version imho. for amazing harmony check out 'mary did you know'. its a christmas song but i think one of their most beautiful. in it they do 'the wall of sound' that something to experience. another interesting thing they do is a mashup of two songs and they make it sound like one. a great example of this is 'la la latch'. i love it.
They have an amazing cover of Seals, Kiss from a Rose. Thanks for the PTX reactions.
Say Something and Amazing Grace are both great Kirstie songs.

Thanks for the reaction. PTX normally sing without musical instruments but Kirstin leads in Say Something and Kevin also plays the wood cello here.

Seasons of Love, Kirstin's whistle notes at the end, something she's been working on for years. There's one of those videos of them messing around, early on, where she's playing around with it...
In the Sing Off, each group had to have a main singer and then a secondary singer. The main singer was designated to be Scott and secondary was Kirstie, which partly why you heard so much of Scott back then.
Want chills... Say Something, Little Drummer Boy
For Kirstie power-belts, I would recommend Say Something (Kirstie lead throughout) and Amazing Grace (hers is the final verse, and she makes sure you'll remember it - and it has a final surprise!). For overall Kirstie songs where she's lead or has a big role, try My Favorite Things, Be My Eyes, Rather Be, or Water. There's no official video for Water, but the Popspring 2016 concert includes it, and that video is worth watching on its own - 3 original PTX songs, and the Evolution of Michael Jackson, all performed live.

Pentatonix owns Christmas. However, VoicePlay has the best Halloween songs. The season is coming up.

Subscribed for more PTX. This was black and white with some gold touches. When people see a variety of songs they can see that the star is the song. They truly choose the song parts based on what is right for the song. This time Kirstie and Scott had the leads. I really like this version. PTX catalog is huge and it is all good. Why not give a mashup New Rules x Are You That Somebody? a listen. The beat is insane.
