Mark, I have to say that this is one of your best rants ever! The bottom line is, we don't have enough at quite a few positions to be a serious contender for the super bowl! Now are we competitive and can we get to the playoffs, sure, but can we get to the big game, and I think the answer right now is no with the roster that we have. We need game changers, especially on the offensive end in those positions that you mentioned in your video! We don't have a monster, we don't strike F E A R in anyone. We are a paper mache tiger. I think maybe two guys on the roster that I would say could have made that team and maybe made a contribution. The problem is they didn’t have a secondary receiver all year that stepped up on a consistent basis. They had no running game because you’re trying to go with the running back who’s coming off and Andrew expected him to run the course, and the run scheme is terrible. Let me try to go with a rookie he wasn’t ready they never addressed the line of who they desperately needed to dress and Chris the loss of digs really put a lot of strain planted good, but Blenn is should be a number three digs is the number one and they need to upgraded the safety position. They they got a good box safety but hook is a good one but he’s not great. They need a plane making free safety, that’s the missing pieces of the Dallas Cowboys. They address the running back position get that solved get a secondary receiver a second receiver. They can take the pressure off of CD to get one to combination the line needs some questions because they need to do some things there I think is good he can come back next year he should he can still play. The problem with drafting a first round QB is, that there are so many other positions of need, that will spend too much on that position and not feel the holes that we really need addressed. We can win right now with Dak Prescott but all those other holes still need to be filled whether we had a first round or not. So we may as well use the pics to fill those holes and then if Dak doesn't do it this year he should be out! Unfortunately he won't be out because they're going to resign him which I don't necessarily agree with but that contract is a killer

We're not discrediting those other players. We're saying if they had a better QB, chances of winning Super Bowl go up. Don't forgot Dak 2 turnovers, essentially giving Packers 14 points. There was no salary cap in 70's and 90's, so it was easier to get studs at every position.

Dak is 2-5 In the playoffs. He has come up short time after time. There’s A point where you have to move on and try something else. You know I ordinarily I would say that you're right as far as adding the homes and we could get over the hump, but the issue is the mindset of this team. Mark, I have to say that this is one of your best rants ever! The bottom line is, we don't have enough at quite a few positions to be a serious contender for the super bowl! Now are we competitive and can we get to the playoffs, sure, but can we get to the big game, and I think the answer right now is no with the roster that we have. We need game changers, especially on the offensive end in those positions that you mentioned in your video! We don't have a monster, we don't strike F E A R in anyone. We are a paper mache tiger. Most of our players think that they've won the super bowl just by being a Dallas Cowboy! The comparison that you made to those '90s teams was right on point. I think maybe two guys on the roster that I would say could have made that team and maybe made a contribution. One of those players being Micah Parsons obviously, and the next one probably D-Law like you say but he likely would be a backup (primarily because he doesn't show up all the time). The bottom line is, the reason we're not as competitive as our fan base thinks that we should be and believe that we are from year to year as a fan base, is because of the Joneses. They had no running game because you’re trying to go with the running back who’s coming off and Andrew expected him to run the course, and the run scheme is terrible. Let me try to go with a rookie he wasn’t ready they never addressed the line of who they desperately needed to dress and Chris the loss of digs really put a lot of strain planted good, but Blenn is should be a number three digs is the number one and they need to upgraded the safety position. They they got a good box safety but hook is a good one but he’s not great. They need a plane making free safety, that’s the missing pieces of the Dallas Cowboys. What's wrong with drafting a first round QB and Parsons gave up in the third quarter until he figures out how to give 100 he should be a backup look at the film other cowboy content guys showed on film Parsons gave up but Lawrence played whole game it was a combination of many things so we're the championship teams but yeah the last Superbowl was won by a first rounder
The problem with drafting a first round QB is, that there are so many other positions of need, that will spend too much on that position and not feel the holes that we really need addressed. We can win right now with Dak Prescott but all those other holes still need to be filled whether we had a first round or not. So we may as well use the pics to fill those holes and then if Dak doesn't do it this year he should be out! Unfortunately he won't be out because they're going to resign him which I don't necessarily agree with but that contract is a killer
There are no guarantees that you’re going to get a “True” Franchise QB in the 1st Round unless you have the pieces around him that supports that premise.
