Would you be interested in testing ESCape32 - another alternative open source firmware - in the same way? It has low KV motor mode that needs to be turned on for very low KV motors.
I'm wondering if a higher amp esc with am32 like one for an fpv drone could be used in a 1/14 scale truggy. I've been trying to find this out forever. I just need to try it lol
