This scene always makes me tear up, the idea of a group of people so fragile and harmless just being shattered completely needlessly, with no way to repair them until this point 😢
That’s the funny thing about Oz; it’s people and characters are often fantastical replicas or versions of the real world, almost like the product of dreams, which can reimagine memories or mix them together In this case, the handicapped girl and the china girl are reflections of each other, kindred spirits
To be honest this movie was really good I don't know why people don't like this movie I saw this in theaters and I loved it because of how different it is.
The art direction and VFX were wonderful, but unfortunately they didn't give the same amount of attention to the live-action performances and direction. Forgettable 21st century acting copy-pasted into a Maxfield Parrish vision. Felt like an assembly line product
I absolutely LOVED this movie!! It was marvelous and magical!! And I think that China Girl is one of the most inspired and brilliant characters created in film history!! She's truly precious!! And this scene in the film is really touching!😥
I tear up every time. I know it was on the nose, but he was able to help the China Girl walk when he couldn't help the girl back in Kansas because he was a fake.
Do you know what I just love it so much it's looks like new DVD releases review history books documentary about biography book club fun more information on maze's contact with the best way magic
The sheer beauty of that scene caught me off guard because the movie is pretty uneven. THAT was Sam Raimi's cinema as I wanted to see it for two hour long.
I know a lot of people say this movie is bad, but I think movies like this are always worth it. If for nothing else, then just for such charming characters.
For me, I started crying at the first sight of her in the rubble, legs broken, made of china and so delicate, and just powerless in the dark before being discovered and illuminated by the light and his saving grace. I’ve felt that broken before
a sequel with James Franco must happen. was such a great movie as i love wizard of oz as i see only hollywood messing this up just like batman,.....................

I remember sitting in the theater and hearing a little girl crying in the back.

I’m literally skoking a joint a crying, dog. 😭

This scene never fails to leave me in tears.
HE MADE HER WALK!
China Girl is absolutely the cutest character in the entire history of cinema!
Oh, she is so cute💖💖
I am sorry for girl and her family gotten shattered.
Not just her family, Those savage monkeys killed all her people, and burned her home, all because they were celebrating, that's so sad.

I'd admit that I wasn't too crazy about this movie, but it had its moments. The China Girl scene was a tearjerker for sure.

What happened to her legs this music makes me want to cry it's so beautiful
the town was razed to the ground by the forces of Evanora the wicked witch. The consequences are obvious
Her entire town + family was killed by the flying monkeys she was only the survivor. She was able to hide but was crippled in the process.
I agree she is so cute!
The CGI for her is so good. I don't know why modern CGI looks so fake.
Naw Wicked was trash, this is my Wizard of Oz 😅
Poor China Girl
im really glad im not the only one who actually enjoyed this movie
Despite having lot of problem, there are still things that I truly enjoy from this movie,
By Far the best scene of the Movie!

Can somebody explain to me why im crying after watching this?
For me, I started crying at the first sight of her in the rubble, legs broken, made of china and so delicate, and just powerless in the dark before being discovered and illuminated by the light and his saving grace. I’ve felt that broken before
Because you have a heart.
Emotions and empathy. Weird concepts, I know but feel free to look them up, apparently they are quite common in humans.
While the whole movie wasn’t what people wanted, it has its scenes, this is one of those.
James Franco was such a good roll for this part
This movie was fantastic, i hate that people just shit on it 😢
I love China Girl
Lucky the break was below the knee
Gorilla Glue?
