  • Price in Malaysia Ringgit (MYR). This shark fin antenna from Perodua Bezza, local Malaysian car manufacturer. www.perodua.com...
You might think this is not worth it, actually you right. This project took me about a month to complete. I only did it after work or weekends. If you keen to use same like mine, you might consider it as following:
    1. Enquiry buy without internal antenna, just top case and bottom case.
    2. Existing antenna for internal necessarily, I used previous shark fin antenna which I bought it from lazada.
    3. Exterior 3M double sided tape required.
    4. Ask car shop to paint it.

I’m sorry but it wasn’t worth it because you didn’t know what you were doing when you ordered it. So then when you got it you tried to make it something it wasn’t, one of the cheap universal shark fin covers as opposed to the full antenna you ordered. This is unfortunately more of a what not to do. You’d have been better just not posting this one.

I don't like the shape of the old shark fin antenna, i been aiming this shark fin antenna when the car Proton Bezza was released in the market. I already obverse and studied the both car antenna. I still decided to replace it because of the shape nice. The purpose of this video is how i struggled to replace the hyundai rod antenna and reply it with shark fin antenna case and replace it again with ultimate look better antenna on Hyundai IONIQ with Proton Bezza shark fin antenna. There is no manufacturer produce shark fin antenna with this kind of shape like this.

Wow... this guy completely takes the cake of what not to do for everything here. Should’ve just unbolted his old antenna and put that in its place. Destroys $350 factory antenna 🤦🏻‍♂️ can’t believe he mangled and cut this thing up like that.

M.K. Frenky it can always be removed, it’s not magically up there, you need to pull headliner back

See that bolt in the antenna you bought? There’s one just like it in your existing antenna

In the car itself you can't remove the black oval shape to hold the rod antenna. To remove the black oval shape need to remove the bolt underneath the car's hood and above car ceiling. It's big operation to remove car ceiling. That the reason i cut the shark fin antenna base. The shark fin antenna is not hyundai genuine its Proton Malaysia genuine shark fin antenna. Different car brand and model.

M.K. Frenky So it’s not that it can’t be done, you were too lazy to do the work required to do it properly. I just changed my roof antenna to a shark fin and removed my original antenna. My brand new OEM Shark Fin antenna was less than $100 USD. I still had to get into the roof liner to replace it. I unbolted it and disconnected the cables, then put new one up, bolted it in, reconnected cables. Easy peasy. Headliner back in place.

you bought a better quality complete set of antenna, that things is better signal strength than the one you have on your car. wrong steps, wrong material, wrong glue you use, i even saw there a 3M doubleside tape plastic there not removed but sticked to the body. the (lazada one) LOL.
