In this Broadcast Award-winning, BAFTA and Emmy Award-nominated entertainment show, Taskmaster tyrant Greg Davies (Man Down, Cuckoo), with the help of his loyal assistant Alex Horne (The Horne Section and the show’s creator), sets out to test the wiles, wit and wisdom of five hyper-competitive comedians.
Comedians that have risked life, limb, and dignity in the hope of making the Taskmaster proud so far include: Frank Skinner (The Frank Skinner Show), Mel Giedroyc (The Great British Bake Off), Romesh Ranganathan (Asian Provocateur), Hugh Dennis (Outnumbered), Sally Phillips (Bridget Jones’ Diary), Rose Matafeo (Edinburgh Comedy Award Winner 2018), and Russell Howard (The Russell Howard Hour). Unaware of what awaits them in each wax-sealed envelope, only one competitor can become the victorious owner of His Royal Task-ness’ golden head and be crowned the next Taskmaster Champion.

Turns out Tim Vine doesn't need oneliners to be funny - just one piece of string and a lobster. Awesomeness ensues.

I like this man. He has this almost perfect balance of posh and fun. An adventurer that sees the joy in everything.

I only know Tim from 'not going out' . he is one of my most favorite British people just a loveable individual same as Russell howard, Lee Mack, and David Mitchell. Just the funniest people you can find on this planet.
The lobster moment is my favorite.
Time for my bi-weekly episode of taskmaster. This show is honestly like a drug.
The mandolin theme played while transitioning to the task and the horn theme played when a notable attempt is being made get stuck in my head intermittently throughout the day, and my marks are genuinely suffering.
Taskmaster should have a "Favourites" series where they bring back some of the best: Rhod Gilbert, Tim Vine, just some of the absolute funniest and insane contestants. It'd be great!
They have champion of champions. Just gotta wait for one more season begore they can do it again. 👍

This has been my absolute favorite group. Perfect combination of lovable losers, wholesomness, competitiveness, and insanity.
What I love about their compilations they don't completely cut out every else. Get to see bits from everyone else too

it is the other contestants reactions to his tasks that are great. they look at each other like " oh well, we are out of our league here. this is brilliant. " they were gushing over his Track Suit task.

Is anyone else constantly confused by how similar Greg's and Tim's voices sound?

many scenes would have been a lot funnier if the fucking preview in the beginning of the video it is fucking advertising hadn't shown the jokes out of context beforehand
for example the first task - i sadly already knew what Tim Vine was going to do with the box before he read the task. So the "reveal" of him flexing in the box wasn't funny at all to me, since i had seen it before, out of context. And back then it wasn't funny because it lacked context. So you've just fucked the gag up, i imagine i would've laughed hard at that reveal, had it been a reveal not an explanation of the preview.
