Get the scoops , ride motorcycles fast , keep me noticed , invite me for events and so on so we can support each other as my only stream of money comes fro RUclips add revenue. BMW is giving me everything I need , they support me all the way on my journey. So I return the respect by giving you guys everything you need to know about this motorcycle but still giving my honest opinion. Nobody pays me , I still say what I want and I do what I want 😛. So thank you all for understanding , liking and sharing my videos and maybe some other brands start supporting me as good as BMW does right now.
@baji360 2020 I started as a new rider on the S1000XR. (causing some weary looking people at the dealership) I didn't have any experience and I didn't need any exams or driver training as my drivers licence is from 1985. For me very important: as much (rider) aids as i could get and a good quickshifter. And yes, I did keep the rainmode on even in the dry. today I have 87000 kms on the bike. No more rainmode necessary.
KTM fan here, but i never will be disappointed about the constant content of others brands. We love all the brands, we love the bikes Smokey, and the new 1300gs is gorgeous.
Love the bike but I think BMW should have put a cool rear light on the bike that would increase visibility. With more and more people on their phones while driving, a good rear light is more important than ever.
Surprisingly, I find the white version very beautiful, as it best conveys this dynamic line. This is immediately followed by the Trophy version. I didn't expect BMW to hit the mark with the new GS in terms of design. Thanks for the video.

I am just watching your BMW experience while lay down on sofa with broken wrist after accident on my k1600 when come back to Scotland from holiday in Italy. Bike written off wife don’t want any more bike in garage as she suffer too after trying be a bird and fly off rear seat and crash to highway barrier and our k1600 is complete destroy after 70mph crash 😢😢😢. Man I wish she will change her mind as I would love to put in my wee garage new r1300gs….Ride safe people watch for those cans crazy drivers.

BMW 1300GS, German engineering: Recall actions to date: 1. fire hazard due to starter relay and 2. engine replacement due to connecting rod bolts. 3.original accessories from BMW: Since March 2024 official recalls of the Vario case and the Vario top case for the BMW R 1300 GS. Reason: Risk of accident due to cases opening or falling off. I am thrilled!😒

Didn't get to ride it yet. They arrive in the US November 4th or something and until then we can't ride them in Europe or something....but someone in the UK is already riding one. Not sure what happend there but I have to follow the rules 🙈
I like the trophy with the enduro pack. Keys are getting stupid big! What the heck! Who asked for a gigantic key for a motorcycle? Or a car? Some people criticize nissan for the small key fobs, but I think they are about perfect!
I saw another RUclips short of a guy saying it had an electric center stand. I thought it was a joke and thought they had some other electric noise in the background while they lifted the bike with the center stand. Now I see what they were saying. That’s actually pretty clever to have the assist from the suspension lift system.

Hi Smokey! Do you know if they are coming up with a 1300 GS Adventure model? If so, when? I'm having a hard time deciding between a 1250 GSA, a 1300 GS or wait for a 1300 GSA.
I went with the 1250GSA, because I didn't like the new 1300GS, like the button layout or that the plastic paniers, still no backlit switchgear etc. So I'm not betting on that horse that the 1300GSA improves on any of that. Now I got an unbeatable price for a new factory order MY24 GSA.

The 1300gs is most likely the biggest bike release of the year, no need to excuse yourself.
So most important question. I’m a new rider…. Should I got for the 1290 S or wait for the 1300 to hit our market?

Yep soon...very soon! But BMW Germany has said nobody can ride on the road just yet. Some of us have to follow the policy 😅

My choice would bee trophy version if so but, im still bite on 1290 SAR😁
The round pannier electric connection point covers are already being lost by riders, they need to have a safety line or something to remedy that.
