- ongaros.com ... In this episode Jason and I spot another clean Canada Goose, Spec, and duck combo for a sunny hot afternoon hunt. This time the specs were far less than cooperative … in fact they didn’t even come to the party. The Canada’s that came stayed! We managed another 5 man limit of ducks while having several ducks hovering just over our heads. Happy times with great company on a sunny afternoon. Life is good!

How could one become a guide at your lodge. I've watched every season. I have many years under my belt far surpassing all the waterfowlers in my region. This is my passion. Single guy with a phenomenal dog and can work the call like a pro.

I will be doing more videos and editing this spring and will add it to my list of things to discuss. Be aware though that for us being on the X with a proper decoy set up to funnel birds into the hole is far more critical than the calling. The duck are very quiet up here. We hear feed chuckling more than anything else. There could be 5,000 mallards on a puddle and you might hear three hens cut loose at day break and then it goes quiet.
Most of them are pretty low
