This is the first video of you where Coco has a little friendly smile at position 10:10 what I like more than her neutral expression. By the way thank you for yor explanations of managing a small home studio. Regards from Hamburg
If I have had your videos back when I started photographing, I would have started to shoot with light modifiers soooo much earlier! I honestly finding them the simplest to understand, the most practical and straight to the point! Thanks for the informative videos, Jiggie. 😊👍🏻
@@JiggieAlejandrino i am really enjoying your channel. its 12:19am in the U.S.A. and I am checking out another lesson. Thank you for sharing your talent 😄
Very helpful video, thank you very much. Plus - wonderful to see how polite and respectful you two are with each other. Looking forward to see more videos.
You definitely deserve way more followers than you have, hopefully more people find your channel, love watching your stuff and learning all these new ideas for lighting.
ive used the wide open aperture method a LOT but never put the camera on auto ISO. i use auto ISO when shooting sports in poor lighting so i can keep the shutter speed up. ill have to give this a try. are you self-taught or did you go to school someplace for this? i studied photography but never at a fine arts school. only a regular college for photojournalism and portrait work wasnt covered much. i did some portrait work in the Air Force but nothing glamor or fine art related you ARE a great teacher and your work is amazing
Hi Jiggle. very interesting tuto. One tip : if you want a wider aperture, you need a faster speed. But your flash or your gear have no HSS function. In that case, you can use a ND filter.
1. Place subject close to the light to eliminate the background 2. Use long focal length and low f number to blur the background and get bokeh. Increase distance of subject and background. 3. Use a readymade background
Your videos are very useful even tho I still don't have a flash to step up the game but I should show this to my son who, poor kid, is the subject for my photography tests, your wife is waaaaaaaaay more patient than him and so very cute, I wonder how many follow your to learn and how many to just look at her ;-) Good stuff, bravo!
Oh good point, my only question is you were turning off and on your high speed speed do you technically have to turn it off when you shoot under we’re at 1/250 of a second
For most triggers yes because if HSS is enabled it will still be shooting as if you were shooting in HSS even in slower shutter speeds, making your flash weaker
Hi Jiggie, when using flash or studio lights is your camera always on aperture priority do you ever use manual? Thank you for all this great content!!!
Really your tutorials are amazing. I was wondering if you could point me to your video where you have utilised both ambient and artificial light in an outdoor shoot. That would be really helpful.
You can see Coco smiled after you said she's pretty in every angle. Darn, there was a chance, and you took it, Jiggie! Lmao, good job. And nice tutorial.
Thank you so much for this tutorial. I really appreciate your time. I went to the Kate website to get the backdrop and there are so many to choose from. Can you please share the color of your backdrop? Thank you in advance for your time and help. God bless! I am a subscriber and learn a lot from your tutorials. Thanks again!
What ever happen to flash metering accounting to main source fill, rear and hair light. Guessing by powering down the power source, so light ratio toss out of the window. Oh my the generation of aperture priority and auto iso wing it so pop 6-8 and sort out 1. And the language Babe even if she is its informal it becomes a bad habit address your subject by name
Every video from you I watch, I start by paying attention to what you say and what you show, and I end up being in awe of your wife, she's stunning!!
I've learned more from you than that stupid course I bought on Udemy lol
Another great video! I have a photoshoot coming up and I'll definitely will be using these techniques

In the studio mostly Manual, outdoor aperture priority 99% of the time
