Cosmic - Slingshot (Amicus Astra)

Hello, my friends.
This is Cosmic and this is the sixth song of Amicus Astra. After not too long the computer is back and has one of my favourite uses of this "character" in the Amicus Astra project. Overall, this song was a lot of fun to make once the ideas were finally together. I had a very hard time nailing the intensity and energy of a gravity assist in a song. I tried dancehall dnb, jump up dnb, and breakcore. All of those had the benefit of faster tempos but still didn't match the right vibe. A friend gave me a perfect reference, Under Pressure by Laszlo. Then the song idea finally came together to make one of my favourite tracks of the project. This project will release song-by-song over the next few weeks to try and gain some traction.
