My eyes fell on the dumbbell this morning and I had the idea to use the thread and locks for a moxon vise. I think I‘m going to make something of that sort
hey it was the same for me, i couldnt find any acme threaded rods here at my place then i saw the threads on my brother's dumbbell and i said to myself hey that might work. look up on the internet and people have done it so it definitely works! i thought about cutting it in half but the upside of leaving it in one piece like this is one can make attach a horizontal surface between the back plate and the back jaw and a flat surface is there to be used to mark the dovetail pins easier!
