Lennox was a hell of a fighter but from day 1 when AJ turned down his offer to manage his carer Lennox has been totally negative towards Anthony. Not saying he will ever be as good as the Lion Lennox but the irony is the amount of negativity Lennox recieved after losses to Mcall and Rahman (Andy Ruiz level guys) is exactly what AJ has taken off Lennox and Usyk is a much higher level than Mcall and Rahman. Maybe AJ and Davison will be a resurrection for Joshua in the same way Lennox was with Steward. One thing is certain Wallin was no mug and this has really given AJ a boost mentally, which is what was needed
Lol. Lennox Lewis has never managed or trained any fighter since retirement. Joshua asked him to be his manager/advisor and Lennox declined. Lennox knew Joshua was a fraud because he was fake, manufactured cherypicker from the beginning. He lost 2 out of 4 fights in Olympics and was known to be chinny from his amateur days
Steward was a legend don't see davidson making aj a better boxer removing the flaws that were there before any losses or giving him back the heart he lost after ruiz that's all on aj to do
@aa-kv2pq I am certainly not saying Ben is or ever will be in the league of the great man. But Joshua's problems have been clear since the Ruiz fight and they are mental. He is not physically perfect and stamina is and always had been an issue but if he gets his headspace correct I can't see anyone other than Usyk beating him. Fury has slipped massively as was proven by the Ngannou fight and I am not sure he is as good as people thought (myself included). I give him props for the Wlad win but that was a case of Fury being slightly better than Wlad in a fight that stunk and both hardly threw and we saw Deontay is and always has been a one trick pony

@@leecourtney1225 I agree to a point I think that judging fury off the performance against nganou is a difficult call, tyson looks rubbish sometimes but always manages to pull it out the bag and usually he looks bad against bad oponents, we won't know until the 17th of Feb but hopefully he pulls out a cracking performance win or loose if he turns out like he did for nganou it will be a disappointment

Lennox had a fall out with AJ years ago because AJ didn’t take him as a trainer. Lennox is a bitter man, and still hurting over the Vitali fight he got lucky in.
This guy is Lennox. One of the greatest heavyweights of all time. Quite a few levels above AJ in the pantheon of heavyweights. AJ should have shown him and a few other people (including USYK) more respect.

Desperation for a money fight outside of AJ fight drove massive overhype of the Wilder Fury trilogy and them both as fighters. So much even Wilder and Fury thought noone could touch them outside eachother. Give AJ credit. Beating a heavy bag in Wallin doesnt tell us anything about what happens to Joshua if he gets hit or tired, frustrated or in deep waters. His mental fragility has been shown in his losses and hitting a guy that brought no offence or threat doesnt show Joshua is back. That's where Lewis as a champion is coming from, if Joshua was his prospective opponent he would analyse and breakdown the wallin fight that way and not believe the hype.

After seeing what Francis did to Fury, I give AJ a better chance to beat Fury than before, for sure. Parker dismantled Deontay, arguably better than Tyson did (since he took no damage for 12 rounds) - and AJ beat Parker already... and AJ destroyed Wallin, whereas Fury had a bit of a battle with Wallin....maybe Fury comes out with a style that wipes the floor with AJ, who knows, but it'll be great if it actually happens
