I think this is great for those who love training outdoors and/or find it hard to find trees with sturdy branches. I'm primarily a rings guy, but I still have room in my training for bars.
The outdoor one works well. I recommend to check the wall you use if you have an apartment because it feels like my wall is going to pull out which may be costly on top of the hole drilling. (I only weight 130 pounds and it makes ripping sounds from my walls. Just a heads up!)
I will be buying one of these based on your review. I was looking at this setup before but was worried that it wasnt heavy duty enough, but your comments about its weight have reassured me. I much prefer bodyweight exercises off bars vs the rings.
thanks for your review, we really appreciate it! :-) great to hear that the dip bar width is perfect for you, that's what we have been especially working on for the last years - have fun with the bar!
@@vuksvedic6829 makes no sense at all to sell products with a low quality. You would buy a new bar every year, in the end you would pay a lot more money for all the bad quality products you had to purchase within a few years instead of investing good money once
I sometimes pack a 20kg kettlebell or a 12kg mace in a backpack if I want to train outside. I recently got a trailer for my bike, now I’m looking to bring a whole gym with me, lol
Thankyou !!! I have been looking at this for ages but at the price point I was worried to splash out encase the quality wasn't great. I've also been watching your content for years, so seeing you give it a positive review put my mind at ease about if it would be worth it. I've not found many good trees near by my house that would be suitable for hanging rings from so this is ideal. I'll use your affiliate link when I'm ready to buy. Awesome !!
That certainly works too. they make a straight bar attachment for the unit that doesn't have the dip bars so it would be super easy to sling some ring straps on them.
That it is. I failed to mention that people will sometimes hang a canvas or picture frame over the wall plate when it's not in use which helps the small space not feel like it's dominated by the unit when not in use.
Hey, you’re 5’10” huh? Wild how people that train always seem taller! What’s your weight, Matt? I think we may be about the same build. You’ve got larger joints than me maybe
Hey Matt, Is there a better way of sitting to lessen the negative effects? Just wanted to know in case you have to sit for long periods of time due to work etc.
The best thing to do is to take little movement and stretch breaks. The real issue with sitting still isn't the "sitting" it' the "still". So if you can move even a little that will go a long way
I just purchased this pull-up dip bar after scouting around on the internet for different options for my gym rings workout. The squat/bench bar isn’t steady enough and the power rack takes up too much space. Regular pull up bars is too close to the wall and the one to put on your door frame is the recipe for disaster. This pull-up dip bar ticks all the boxes for me. Come to think of it, I should’ve bought the second wall mount too, very good advise.
Hello, is there enough distance from the wall to perform strict pullup or hollow pull up? Or are you forced to bend your knee due to the lack of space?? Thank you!
@@Visdemhvemduer wait, i'm a little bit confused sorry 😅 the distance is enough to do normal pull up with straight legs, but not enough to do inverted row. Am I right?

You can attach the rings to this device

How did it go did you order it ?? Quality??
@@The_right_path100 I didnt get it in the end. I opted for a freestanding pullup/dip frame from decathlon, and it is brilliant.

Happy to help OSD and hit me up on instagram if you have any further questions on it. I want to make sure it's everything you need and more.
Converting any pole into a pull-up bar is appealing. I'd just hang a pair of rings from it for dipping instead of reconfiguration though.

Where u able to go deep enough for the dip without the mount getting in ur way ?
Looks like they have a straight bar accessory that you can add in case you don't want the dip bar handles sticking straight out.
Yep, Looking into maybe using that if I use thing on an indoor setting.
Hey Enzo! Miss seeing you in home workout videos. My cats Tobee and Stanley say hello 👋 Also, great review. Thanks Matt!

Not that I can tell. It seems to be about the same correct distance as other wall-mounted units I've seen.

@@TrueYaleDioma There's enough space to do strict pull up you're not forced to bend your knees, but I can't say the same for muscle ups.
Mounting to a wall is a pain in the ass, a tree however, could be cool.
