Mine arrived today and just wow they sound amazing. For the price I would recommend these. I was lucky and got them for £80 from amazon with a voucher that popped up as I put them in my basket
Bought the Creative T100 AND the Edifier R1855DB. (I only wanted one set but long story). The Edifier are best for near the TV, sound awesome but are large. The T100 are 90% as good sound wise, but much better for the desk, because they're so much smaller. Both are awesome!
Got a pair on eBay, using them with my M1 Mac Mini. Sound is very good, but they're a bit too "boomy" for conversational speech. Took the bass down a notch, using a third party equalizer (eqMac Pro), and they sound great. Only negative is that, in Bluetooth mode, it takes about a second for them to "wake up" when you start a video.
Thanks for the review! May i ask which produces a better quality sound (bass and vocals etc.), the T100 or T60? Which is the best input to use for my laptop's monitor, aux or usb?
Posted on my T60 review: "In a nutshell: the T60 sounds better (soundstage) but doesn't have as much of a punch in the lows. I'd pick the T60s " - review: ruclips.net/video/GVe8HLBt67g/видео.html
I use these with Sound Baster AE-5 in direct mode (dry). I set AE-5 too 50% volume only, because otherwise I get distorted sound at volume 70% or 90%. With this card T100 sounds too crisp and somewhat too intesne. Only EQ mode that sounds much more calm and realistic is "EQ Concert" preset. Otherwise with "Bluetooth" all EQ presets sound very nice. I haven't yet tried "optical in", but I think it will sound similar to "bluetooth" since the speakers will use it's own DAC as well. Overall pretty good speakers.
Could you please review the Hart Audio D&W Aural Pleasure speakers? They are budget speakers too, and I'd like to have an informed opinion on which is the best one out of those two. I'm in a rush so please deliver that review by next week. You're the best, God bless. Thanks.
Do you remember how fast they took to enter sleep/standby mode after not receiving any signal? If connected via aux (= green 3.5 mm), it happens oddly fast. The T40 in comparison wait for 15 minutes.
Pretty chonky for the desk size I own. They don't seem they'd be too keen on sharing it with my uw monitor. Can they be placed horizontally, would that negatively affect their performance?
Thank you for your review. I have a couple questions, if possible 1) are the remote buttons hard or soft to press? 2) Do I need to point the remote exactly towards the R speaker or is there some freedom of operation? 3) I know that the volume controlled by the remote goes from zero to 28. Is it the change in volume very gradual or every step (e.g. from 4 to 5, or from 8 to 9), gives a very noticeable increase of volume? thank you
Glad you liked the review! 1: soft 2. some freedom, but the receiver isn't the best 3. I'd say it's gradual, but at the lower volumes say 1-3 might seem like more noticeable steps

Hello! I had an Edifier R1280T that recently stopped working. I did like the highs with max treble on it, but I always found them a bit too bassy, even with bass to minimum, with also a muddy sound, alltough, I did (partially) get (kinda) used to it over time. With this ocasion, I was thinking of trying something new. I am on a 100$ budget here and I really am not sure if I should go for this or not, if I should get something else. Your opinion here would help me a lot in making a decision.
It'll be a downgrade in my opinion, but these are a good alternative namely for the soundstage and I guess for what you're looking for a little less bassy sound.
@@TotallydubbedHD The fact that this, indeed, seems like a downgrade keeps me from getting them. Also, I would like them to be less bassy because the bass literally took over some songs, and I wasn't able to hear certain sounds anymore because of only the bass overtaking, but at the same time, I do want a powerfull bass. I only want the bass not to overtake on the other sounds (particularly on orchestral music, for instance). I watched the entire video, but I still have to ask, how powerfull is the T100 bass compared to R1280T? Do they still have enough bass for a good liking, and for it to still feel powerfull?
