- My two cents on these Creative speakers after owning the T40s for 8 years!

I had to edit out the speaker testing portion due to music copyright issues. Sorry!

Best of all those other comparison videos. Your opinion is what I want to hear. Great. Thx.
100 % agree !!! This review is very well done 👍 . Thank's a lot to the uploader.
I love the T40 and T20 series II speakers. I've got 3 sets of T40s and a set of t20s.
I don't care for all the newer creative speakers. I wish they'd just come out with a series III instead.
sounds like better off getting the eris 3.5s cost 99 bucks instead 130 150 bucks and despite being "Studio monitor" seem to have higher quality and bass than the t60s and t100s. and from all i experianced "wall plug" speakers almost always btetter than "bluetooth" "wireless" or "USB" speakers sure can get subwoofer but now looking at 200$
@@nightmarerex2035 I had E3.5, don't believe the advertising, these speakers suck. Edifier MR4 is much better.
Creative T40 Series 2 vs Creative Labs I-TRIGUE L3800 vs Klipsch ProMedia 2.1 THX?
I just picked up some a set of T100 speakers. The T40's do sound better nearfield but interestingly enough as you back away from them the T100's get better. It's a weird value proposition, if you are using them as PC speakers, make sure you have a desk deep enough to get them a few feet away from your ears. When I sit across from them in room, several feet away just using my phone to send audio over Bluetooth, they get better out in a room.
I picked up the T60 and I think they have the same 2.75" speakers as the T100. They sound decent. I would like more bass but I also didn't want a sub. T60 has a button to switch to headset ... That is why I got it.
they are not the same speakers, they have the same size but it is not the same quality or the same design
@@snampryio8939 does the T100 have better sound?
@@chrisdsx5 I don't know, but in a video the voices are heard better in the t100, the bass is almost the same with the difference that the t100 allows you to raise or lower the bass and treble from its control, the music is also heard a little better in the t100, or so it seems in the video
Port location in the case generally doesn't matter so long as you set your speaker correctly for the port. Lower frequencies become less and less directional as they dig deeper into the register. Rear facing ports need to be moved away from the wall because the port is basically a tuned horn for low frequencies. Believe it or not putting a rear port too close to a wall will actually make the bass weaker and less impactful from both disturbance and acoustic perspectives because that column of air that is being pushed out of the port will break up and mangle the frequency. And it's the energy from a correct resonation frequency that rattles walls, not simply air being pushed against it. Unless it's like a freaking hurricane.
What do you think would be best for music production out of these? Especially for heavy music thanks!
T100 also have 3 seconds standby problem?
What's the problem?
@@ДмитрийКорнилов-щ2з when it stays idle time, causes standby...
Corrections:
When speakers are connected via Bluetooth, the volume of the connected computer is automatically muted when the system wakes up from standby mode. This is an error and can be resolved by updating the firmware by following the instructions below:

I like the better bass sound, which one should I buy in terms of sound quality? I just listen to music
If the t100 indeed do go lower then probably you can boost the highs on the T100 using eq for that crispy more detailed sound more easily than doing the same for bass on the t40. Bass frequencies always drain the power supply and the t100 are rated at 20w vs t40's 16w. This would be my rule of thumb intuitive response but I haven't heard either or been able to compare.
Did you end up buying any one of these?

how do t60s vs t100s to eris 3.5 compare? i assume the eris has the best audio but less "fancy" connections?
which is approriate for playing games and human voice?
I wanted to buy the T100 but the gloss finish is a no go for me. Thing will have dust and prints on it no matter what you do.
T100 doesn't have a gloss finish by the looks of it?
good
