That's the bc330 charger that comes with cheaper 12v kits and their 4v kits. Higher end 12v kits come with the bc430 30 minute fast charger, and that has a red and a green light. When that kit came out it came with the fast charger, so I think they must have neglected to take our the "fast" part when they re wrote the manual.
Bosch has better internal components vs Milwaukee. Both are great. I prefer Bosch. The anvil on the Milwaukee is Aluminum Alloy and narrower than that of Bosch which is Magnesium which is lighter and more durable and a wider anvil to give a more solid hit when impacting.
Yours is the slow charger. Get the fast-charge version, will fully charge a 2.0Ah in just over 30 mins
You must have a BC330 charger which is slow. Older Bosch combo sets came with a BC430 "30 minute charger" which does charge the 2.0 amp battery in 30 minutes.
Let's see how long it takes for you to kill that battery now.... Bosch 12v 2ah seem to last forever compared to other brands batts. Especially when plugged into an EC Brushless tool....just saying
Very true plus I own like 10 of them batteries along with the 6ah flat bottom ones. Bosch has superior battery technology along with efficient technology. Does not chew batteries.

Cause I got a bunch of the Bosch batteries on stand by, I’ve never really noticed the charge time but I think they’re closer to 45 min from what I recall. Then again I’m charging them when one bar is left so you maybe right there.

Those Bosch charge really fast I think it’s about 30 minutes to charge those 2 ah I have the hack saw and flashlight wit that 12 volt Bosch
Would you recommend a two platform combo? One that compliments/backs up the other? It's hard to stay with one power tool company because there's always a competitor with something different or better or stronger in another area. For example, in my case maybe a 1,2 combo is Milwaukee and Bosch? Bosch for their refinement as their planars, routers, oscillating tools are quite good. Then have Milwaukee to spell the for larger jobs in their impacts and hammer drills 18 volt line? Key word is one that compliments the other (if this is at all possible?).
I own both 12 v Bosch & 18 v happy with both each platform has a tool for my specific needs and I say it's whatever you need your tools for on a daily basis a weekly basis for some Milwaukee may have an extensive 12 volt line but you will not go wrong with Bosch 12 v line now in 2023 everything was going 100% brushless on that line

Both of my batteries takes 1 hour to charge from dead to full. But mine came with a different charger than that i have a green light strip from top to bottom in the center of the charger.

That is ridiculously slow charging time for a “rapid charger.” I typically like Bosch products but quality dropped the ball on this one. My 18 v Milwaukee 6.0 HO battery charges from depleted to full in approximately 56-58 minutes.

I've got a full range of bosch 18 volt cordless tools and there isn't any other make I would swap them for, not one has let me down and the batteries last ages, I know someone who has this tool and it doesn't take that long to charge
