  • As a 20-year veteran Navy SEAL, Christopher Beck was hailed as a hero, serving on thirteen deployments and ultimately earning a Purple Heart and the Bronze Star. But Chris’s biggest battle was coming to terms with the fact that she was really a woman. Now known as Kristin, Beck opens up about her life in a field of masculinity while struggling to acknowledge and accept her true gender. Suffolk English Professor Elif Armbruster helps Beck present her true story, a profile of finding the courage to be herself.

Kristen is absolutely amazing, classy and genuine. I love finding her presentations and podcasts. I would so love to meet her and give her a big hug. I am so grateful for her many years of (dangerous and selfless) military service, and now for her ongoing service to others. It makes me sad to hear first hand what she went thru as a Seal and since as a trans person, I.e., the coffin filled plane ride home, the anguish over her kids, and the death threats, slurs and physical attack in Tampa. I wish her nothing but happiness in her life; she deserves nothing less. And I am so happy she has found some with a partner who loves and respects her as she is. Loved this video.

"I hate labels. I don't want to be labeled" - Beck
But he'll have no problem labeling you if you don't agree with him and don't support the Trans agenda.

So if she doesn't want to forget her service and who she was then why change her name
